Got to attend a 'winners only' morning time (10 am) acoustic set in 1997 (Bowie and drummer) with question and answer (from questions sent in by the 'winners') that took place at a small bar music venue in Atlanta called Smith's Olde Bar. My friend had won and brought me, the biggest Bowie fan she knew, and we had a great time drinking Irish coffees and grooving to his legendary performance. One of my fondest memories, so cool. Getting an audience with David Bowie is probably the closest anyone can get to meeting "A God" let alone the God. He was so extraordinarily talented across so many different mediums - music, cinema, you name it - his loss is irreplaceable, but his art will live forever.

I've never heard a super fan mispronounce their idol's name so many times. He's still mispronouncing Bowie even in 'After Life' 😅. Having said that, I love them both to bits.
