As nonsensical and odd it is to have romance in Thomas, I wouldn’t mind it if this movie was cleaned up a substantial amount. I thought this was decent when I first saw it some years ago but now after watching this hilarious review video, the whole 2 and a half hour long video isn’t really great with how clunky the voice acting is, a plot that makes little to no sense, and more. Here’s what I think would’ve made the video a bit better: - Cut down on the montages and remove plots that have no purpose to the film (Thomas going to the quarry) - Have some engines (one at the least) is misunderstanding the situation between Thomas and Emily and is, at first, on Emily’s side. - Change the music, instead of it always being the sad piano music. Using it a couple of times is one thing but using it whenever Thomas is sad or the whole movie takes a sad turn, it’s just overkill. - Clean up the script. Don’t keep repeating certain sentences or words like “At last. . .” Or “Now the chase was on!” I think having a different narrator would’ve been a better choice or at least, have a script that was cleaned up a good amount. - Change most of the voices. Emily, Sir Topham Hatt, and a few others. The voices for Henry, Salty, Percy, Toby, Edward were pretty good. Pauls Vids did a decent Gordon’s voice though I have to wonder how he got in that movie. And most others like Thomas sound alright but if you clean up the sentences and the tones they use, I think it would sound a bit better. - Have Emily be on the same track as Thomas if you’re gonna have to do a chase scene. It didn’t make sense since she was on a separate track. - Maybe have Thomas go further than just bumping into Diesel 10. Maybe he bad mouths Diesel 10, and Emily overhears it. Then later, Thomas accidentally gets him into an accident, and Emily blames Thomas for it. Probably something a bit better than this idea but just something that came to mind. Now, would my suggestions have made the movie better. Probably not but I think it would’ve made more sense. I don’t know the guy who made this and I don’t mean to be mean. I’m just giving suggestions. Anyone can have an opinion.
