1. Apply sunscreen to scalp (recommends Aveda suncare hair veil) 2. Strong hold hair gel to prevent frizz - moisturise well beforehand (recommends Boucleme super hold styler or aveda be curly coil defining gel) 3. Coat hair with oi before swimming (e.g., coconut or argan oil) 4..Rinse hair thoroughly after swimming in sea/pool (e.g., Aveda curl protecting primer or Pacifica damage care leave in mask) 5. Co-wash hair if washing hair frequently 6. Hydrating deep conditioning treatment x1week 7. Use less heat - air dry rather than diffuse 8. Protective styles - e.g., braids, buns 9. Use caps/hats/scarves 10. Sleep with a satin bonnet - use on aeroplane if possible.
