Can one do this into a beer or glass bottle? Im trying to make a butter beer case for my gf for Xmas this year (Harry Potter themed with her own Ravenclaw OC logo)

Just a quick safety hint: Keep your soda stream bottles upright while in use. Otherwise, you may end up with liquid CO2 escaping through the regulator, and the PRV on the beverage container is probably not fast enough to release the pressure building up from the sudden expansion. Depending what you pressurize and how much gas volume there is, that may end in a rather violent explosion (has happened to a guy in a chat group I'm in with one of those PET kegs, caused a bunch of stitches in the ER).

I use 30psi it works a treat.

That's not how you suppose to use a ball lock fitting by just pushing it on like that , you have to pull it back to disengage the balls then let go once you pushed it on

Thanks for the video. Just got my 1st keg (used 20L) and getting supplies to have summer beer on tap. I am going the sodastream route, but I already have the 20lb CO2 tank with dip tube as I have refilled the sodastream bottles in the past. I paid about $1.20/lb of CO2 at the local place here in Waterloo, ON.

If your going to a paintball shop for those refills won't you be getting the non-food Co2 refills instead of what you really want are the food base Co2 to do your drinks with.

Hello, master, which city in Canada do you live in? I’m Brazilian and I’m also a homebrewer living in Toronto.

Bought one. Cautionary note: This is not a sodastream replacement. The regulator provided with this kit isn't high enough (red lines at 25 PSI.) You need the regulator that goes up to 60 PSI (recommended 40 PSI). I asked if I could return - seller hasn't responded after 2 weeks.

get a 20 lb tank if you want fizzy water, the last drop is at least 20 oz btw

Just so you are aware 1Psi on and 8inch circular lid is equivalent to just over 50 pounds pushing up in said lid

And how do i refill the 50L keg tank... From other small tanks
