That loco is truly a work of art, and a stellar machine. I'm a little sad that it isn't a three cylinder like the original. However, the original 9000 class was a pain to maintain, and that with being how large they were. This smaller version has smaller tolerances and spaces, so maintenance on a third cylinder would be damn near impossible. As it is however, I'm stoked to see what it can do. I bet they are very proud, as they should be. Edited for spelling. Because I apparently can't spellcheck myself.😂

Interesting! Looks like an old engine, what brand is it? I work on old ones like that, only have seen one other with the muffler up front. Power products? Tecumseh? Briggs & Stratton?

Not so Miniature Steam engine. It it was any bigger it would be a full sized steam locomotive!

And not to be a debbie downer, you're going to have to move your front camera from the saddle and the display from off the backhead because neither will live long at the temperatures they're about to experience. Most portable electronics will go out somewhere around 50C which is only 125F. Usually it is the capacitors that can't take the heat, but LCD displays can only go so far before you cook the liquid crystal material inside. Once you hit 150C, the silicon itself melts, so there goes all your active components. I'm an electrical engineer and have had to do thermal protection for lots of motor control equipment, which is in the industrial side of the business... consumer grade electronics, especially the stuff coming out of china will almost certainly NOT have the same thermal capabilities... But to be fair, that kind of range typically isn't seen in normal use. I'm in the process of building a 7.5 inch heavy pacific 4-6-2... so I'll be going through all of this too, as I'm integrating some electronics into my build for speed and instantaneous tractive effort. Your engine looks great so far!

I like the use of a tractor alternator for power! Lol that actually pretty slick way around that problem!
