These are our Babies. All rescues. Chanel (now 6yo) and Nina (now 9yo) adopted from Miami-Dade Animal Services in June of 2010. These are our little babies at Play. Nina (Chihuahua), Chanel (Bichon Frise), and Derby (Russian Blue). Chanel and Nina were rescued in June of 2010 from Miami-Dade Animal Services and, our little Kitty, Derby was found at 6 weeks of age in a Walgreen's Parking Lot on Oct.26th 2012. They are our joy and as you can see our entertainment and we love them immensely.

Yes. In their case you would turn them upside down. If they have reddish brown feathers in the vent opening area, they are male.
@@DanDeeDee thank you ,I have exact same one but they do coo in morning ..might be still young..at what age they start cooing...and how many females would I need to add in ratio to males..I have two males
@@anirbankittu if you are having a community 2:1 ratio females to males would be okay. You do not want more males than females. The amount of space is also a factor. The smaller the space the bigger the probability of conflict between males. In a community they are not prone to breeding. If you want to breed 1:1. Check my other videos. I had a pair (Dan & DeeDee) that raised many chicks and what a wonderful experience to witness these small little creatures raising their young. I made an enclosure from a plastic container, about the size of a file box. The trick is to give them privacy. I accomplished this by putting in an artificial plant. Another suggestion just FYI (if you don't already), teach your quail to drink out of a hanging water bottle (the kind that has the little down hanging tube, usually metal with a little ball bearing inside at the end. It's so much more convenient and cleaner for them.

I incubated 15 button quail and only 1 hatched and it's doing amazing only 2 weeks old but so cute 🤗

These are king quails
These are known by different names, Button Quails, King Quail, Blue Breasted Quail and Chinese Painted Quail.

Way too many in too small a space.Some missing feathers and most ruffled from stress. Get a much bigger encloser. Just because they are button quail doesn't mean you keep lots in a tiny space.
These were all born at home in an incubator, this was the last transitional brooder, before being released into a large aviary (check my other videos). They were still in the process of plumage change hence their look. They are still young and that is why they are able to cohabitate together. Once they are bigger, males in this space would be fighting with each other and not singing with each other
