My favorite place was the Grand Canyon!

I have thought of putting RV hookups ( for one RV) to my shop building and renting overnight, or weekly space, but I don't know if it would be profitable, and what about insurance? I'm on an acre. I think it would be nice to make friends that I could see when they came through. I traveled a lot as a kid, and I could completely relate to the excitement of seeing friends that you are close too, in a new place!

It's funny. I used to say I didn't know the color of people. It never made a difference. I grew up in New York and when I was a child went to Harlem on weekends. I am white and the woman who raised us was black and considered her our second mother. So I had the best of both worlds. Now, I am a senior and my kids spouses are of mixed descent to. We are a beautiful colorful family is what I say and would not change it for anything. As for predjudice, we had a lot of it ourselves since my husband and I have lots of tattoo's and both are hippish. I am totally boho and my husband has long hair. But I don't care if people care about this or not. As I said... we are beautiful people that God created. Period. I never met anyone camping with that thought otherwise. As you said, they are nice and friendly people who more or less have the same dreams of traveling. PS: I lived inh California for 6 years and loved it.
