This song came out when I was 22. And it HIT me so hard back then. I adore this song. To me, it's about how life was for real introverts, before online gaming and social media. Finding ways to entertain ourselves because we really did NOT want to be out there.

I never cared much for covers. It always seemed to me a lazy way of trying to capture some fame rather than writing your own stuff or doing an original from a hungry songwriter. But it's hard to take umbrage with this one. Great singing, playing, and I like his phrasing. It does the original full justice.

I was seven years old when this song came out, and I thought this was the coolest sounding song i ever heard! I decided to check out his album a few years back, and it was just as groovybsnd brilliant!! It should have been a career making album for Eric! Nashville, you missed the boat with this cat!
