We are happy to have you in our household and you must have understood now that colour with which Nigerians are painted is incredibly false. Now you are experiencing the hot weather as you did not know what heat is all about. One point of correction is that Nigerians are not loud in seem to be a negative manner in which this "loud" thing is being portrayed and hyped about. It must be understood that it bothers on perception as we in Nigeria or other West African countries consider the way the South Africans and East Africans speak especially pronunciation of some words as weird and funny. For example, south africans and east africans pronounce the word Against as "Agenenst" and this even excite just smiles from us . We make no single story of it with all its dangers. God by his creation located Nigeria in the hot climate with greater rain fall but placed South Africa in snowy weather, so it is not to be taken for caricature. Yet Nigerians simply don't bother about that characteristics of South Africansor East Africans because that is peculiar to your linguistic nature. Surely even in South Africa the Xhosa speak differently in accent from the Zulu or other tribes and that is how it is with different countries. My sister I am not being hard, just to point out that when something goes on for long unabated or undisputed it becomes a convention and a norm that is believed to be true when it is. Once more welcome to our family, now you are a Nigerian being married to us. Please come home to Nigeria, let your children at least imbibe the Nigerian indomitable spirit of goal getters. God bless you.

I think this poor lady married to a foreign man, she's from poor family i don't blame her for mating with a foreigner she's doing it for survival,as a patriotic south African soldier i can see that she doesn't have a back bone, self preservation and a sense of cultural protection shame!!!

Nigerians - Chinese - and the rest of third world countries ( South America, Eastern Europe - China - Asia - West Africa ) - Do Not Adhere to Order - Standards - Procedures- Protocol - co-operate standards - They rely on CORRUPTION - Jumping a que or calling somebody you know is PART OF CORRUPTION- It has nothing to do with impatience. This is evidence of coming from a uncivilized world with barbaric behavour.

Common... What is this fuss about SA name vs Nigerian name? If people can bear English or french names even when they dont live there, then there is no big deal about the the child bearing SA name. Also, a name does not give change your national identity. It has little to no bearing on your national identity. Similarly, if a child has parents from different places, then that child has dual nationality. So stop the fuss about the child being SAn or Nigerian - The child is both... Thank you

Whooping / beating is normal here but don't do it out of anger but of discipline. Child abuse is ❌ here in 🇳🇬. Here in 🇳🇬 parents discipline a child to be polite and modest bcos a child that lack discipline might not regards there parents and family, not to talk of there future spouses.
