How did you get your bed to go up or down can't get my bed to go up

I’ve got the Pro 150w 3655 and am not finding any videos showing how to use the PiBurn rotary with this Trocen controller. Do plan on putting something like that together in a video for this machine? I know many would appreciate it if so! (I can get it to engrave but it’s nowhere near clean enough and I’m new to lasers so getting the lines per inch vs power vs speed for this controller is throwing me off. I also don’t know how to ensure I have the correct settings for the steps for this machine and rotary…I’m using the chuck attachment if that matters…) Thanks in advance!

Would this alignment tool fit the monport MP-690 80W CO2 laseR?

I followed along with your video and did as you did but it did not correct mine and you did not go into what happens if it does not correct the issue . so how do you correct it if it is not correct ??

My main issue I have had with the larger on tech machines is alignment with the mirrors and the tube. How was the alignment for you on the product model?

I am adding a beam combiner from omtech this weekend. Do you fine this makes it any easier when aligning the mirros? In therory it seems like it would make the process a lot easier.

is the measuring at the fixed honeycomb height or do I lower it down all the way? what bed size is yours? Thank you

Great. Might want to avoid the $11 "Street Brass Classic" Zippos. I just ran a test on either side of one and on both sides, the finish bubbled up, even after I lowered the power and increased the speed to the point the design was barely visible. Unfortunately, I bought 4 of them... $45 lesson learned.

Hello! I was looking for a video like yours, because my laser engraving and cuting has been like shit in the last few days and I can't seem to find the main problem. I did all the stepts in the video (I'd already seen the tutorial in the Lightburn page but it wasn't so helpful), and I find that my main problem is with the lines, even with this test, the lines are always "blurry", so I understand that my problem is not from the engraving. How can I fix this?

Question- what is the difference between your class on lightburn and the one offered on the omtech site?

Gr8 Vid!! I am curious to see a video of this OMTECH 100W in action engraving a brass coin with Lightburn. The engraved brass is so different than the stainless. I wonder what setting you chose as it seems that brass could easily be burned/charred with too high of power rather than steel. What were your settings for the Brass Coin Engraving? Did you use a Depth or Height Map? Just curious if a Greyscale image could product that type of engraving. Once again, thank you for taking the type to share with your audience. I look forward to learning more about this type of Fiber Laser Machine.

Thanks for the overview. Based on this, thinking of going with a lower-end Laser 80-100W and a plasma table like from Langmuir. This way I can cut aluminum also.

Actually what is happening is the color is reflecting the laser's wavelength. Black will absorb all colors and thus reacts the most favorably. Generally Red is the worst color as most of the fiber lasers are in the infrared spectrum.

I knew the settings would be there somewhere and I new I had to do it 😀 I finally had a job that needed small letters engraved into acrylic and was getting crappy results. After this, its sharp edge's all around. Thanks for the vid 👍
