Sooo, you didn't watch the video?
omg this is way more complicated than i thought it was going to be
Good thing you have this guide to help you, it's helped a ton.
@@ThisBytesForYou apparently i got RAM that wasn't compatible with my mobo
@kakashi7280 that's a possibility but have you checked the motherboard manual to see what banks they are supposed to be installed into, this is for about 90% or more of configurations but some are different. What is the manufacturer and model number of your motherboard and ram?
Idk where to get the 8 pins can someone tell me i need lil help
What is the manufacturer and model number of your power supply
I am confused. Why are there two temperatures on gpu?
Theres the GPU temperature then there is Hot Spot temperature. The terms "GPU temperature" and "hot spot" are different spots, though similar in a sense. GPU Temperature: The general temperature of the GPU core (the graphical processing unit of the graphics card). It's usually an average or a single temperature reading from a specific sensor placed on the GPU die. It's a good indication of the overall thermal state of the GPU and is commonly reported by monitoring software. This is useful for understanding the general thermal condition of the GPU and ensuring it operates within safe limits. If this temperature is within a normal range, the GPU is likely functioning well. Hot Spot Temperature: Also known as "Junction Temperature" or "Max Temperature," this is the highest temperature recorded at any point on the GPU die. GPUs can have multiple sensors distributed across the die, the hot spot temperature represents the highest reading from these sensors. The hot spot temperature can be significantly higher than the average or general GPU temperature because it identifies the hottest part of the GPU, which can be critical for preventing thermal damage and ensuring optimal performance. It's good for identifying potential thermal issues that might not be apparent from the average temperature alone. A high hot spot temperature can indicate poor cooling, issues with thermal paste or pads, or localized overheating, which could lead to thermal throttling or damage if not addressed.
What is that cooler??

hello! I know this video is fairly old but a reply would really help me! I’ve realised that I need a new pcie cable to install this, does this mean I need a new power supply? Or just the wire? this video was super helpful for me, thank you !!

In my case sir do I need to download the chipsets also or update my bios only then its done?
are you building a new pc?

The sag :(
you might have seen the wrong video, new board and new card, impossible to have sag so soon, but if you do have the issue, check out this video: czcams.com/video/hyEJz56yg24/video.html

@@Arilovesyou- sooo crazy thing.... Did you watch the video I linked up, also, every long card will sag after a period of time.
@@ThisBytesForYou I got it like last month😭
@@Arilovesyou- so you want to make in it sag more without a bracket?
So i have a corsair 850 psu. And i cant find out wether the double pcie cables go into the psu next to eachother or above one another. On the psu there are 2x8 pin slots that say PCIE/CPU. So can i use one row for pcie and one row for cpu instead of columns???
There are a few power supplies that use this, this is one, yes you can plug in the EPS (CPU) or PCIE cable here, I hope you are using 1 PCIE cable per connection on the card, not daisy chaining
I don’t have c8h.cap what should I do? Also, the reason I’m doing this is because my PC is in power cycle. Only time it doesn’t cycle is when its in bios. Help please.
Did you watch the video...
@@ThisBytesForYou let me watch it again…I’m in the process installing window 10. Hopefully that will work. It’s just now it only takes me to bios. I can’t even go to windows.
@@uphill248 probably because you have liquid cooling or haven't set your boot options
@@ThisBytesForYou I forgot to mention the updated work. I’m just still stuck on the F1 error. Maybe if I reinstall windows hopefully that will work?

I have no sata cable, wasted my money and time on this bs
They cost less than $10, save a few bucks and you can get it, or if you have your motherboard box you might have extras, no reason to be so dramatic, there was no waste of time. 3 cables for $7 off of my Global Amazon Affiliate link: geni.us/1up1jYg
Can you do three?
Depends on your board, you should check out your motherboard manual but on ddr4 or 5 it would drop it to single channel
i could not add the wifi and thats what i need help with
Did you watch the video
Flipping awesome video! Your videos always inform us so well, great job!
Thanks bud, I truly appreciate it, glad to see you back too. I am working on a lot at the moment and life is kinda blocking me from publishing, but I am on it, thanks so much for your support.
Do you think a good quality 600w gold power supply can withstand an RX 7700 XT and a Ryzen 5700x3d?
Sapphire has a minimum requirement of 700Watts, you could leave your 600Watts and risk blue screens, shut downs or worse, I think if you are paying for a nice card, pay for a decent power supply, if you buy a nice one up front, it will work on your next card, and you next, I have been using 1200 and 1000Watts for over 15 years, the 1000Watts are about 5 years old, maybe older, and they have seen SOOOOOOOOOO many cards, the 1200, I gave to a friend, and its seen sooooooo many upgrades, spend more now, save tons later. This is one of the 3 I use every time, off of my Amazon affiliate link: geni.us/01x0
@@ThisBytesForYou The techpower up recommends a 550w power supply for the RX 7700 XT, that's why I asked, the RTX 3070 consumes more or the same as an RX 7700 XT and the recommended is 550w.
The sapphire states they require 700 watts and it's based off of a fully built system, techpower up is giving you their recommendation off of a build they build. Sapphire tests extreme to make sure there is no issue when you build. That still recommend at least that if not higher so you don't have to keep buying power supplies everytime you upgrade. You already made up your mind though before you came.
I have this video card and my motherboard is MSI PRO B650M-A wifi but I dont know if I need to install the latest BIOS because some say its not safe to update the BIOS on motherboard so I'm scared to update my motherboards BIOS can you help me sir what version of BIOS the I need to install?

so this card is pcie 4.0 x8? will it work in my pcie 4.0 x16 slot?
I have not tried it recently, but i have seen it work years ago on older generation amd cards.
@@ThisBytesForYou Yea I just figured it out the RX 7600 XT features a PCI-Express 4.0 x8 host interface, it will work on any PCIe x16 slot
@@jacobhaussmann90 right though I show you that here as well, and I go over it in other video but I haven't put a physical x8 card (or 16) in an electrical x4 in years, thankfully haven't needed to, I am interested to see if you are running into a need for this?
3:17 Do the shapes need to match perfectly? My motherboard asks for 8 total 12V power connection, so I may be trying to combine as you have (2x4) into it. Fingers crossed that it works, as 4 match perfectly but the other 4 do not.
Yes, but if they don't match.... They don't fit so you are good

Can a 6.+2 really work ? Cause I really don't wanna buy another power supply that's a 8 pin......I just bought one that has a 6 pin and a 2 that I can put together....would it really work?
yes, like with math, 6+2 equals 8, its the same thing my friend, you are good, just don't daisy chain them.
