Yes that’s the main clutch bolt to the engine. Ironically this unit in the video was loose as well.

So loose or tight ? Bc I've watched other videos and they say their bolt was supposed to be tight

Yes I know according to the manual your supposed to use lithium I believe on the spindles and chassis grease for everything else. I haven’t ever used but one grease, in my opinion it’s more important how often you grease than the grease that you use.

They are aluminum non grease able. That’s sad I’m not sure what’s with scags quality control lately

Check the case ground on the side of the block if you, check all of your connections if all tests good the harness is gone.

I’ve talked about it and thought about it, but I’d want to run one not work for one. Been down that road once before.

Checking the voltage to the clutch, the ohms on the clutch and the adjustment but mostly it’s the adjustment.

I’ve been running scags since I could stand on a velki. I love scags, the are fairly simply and very tough.

Those are a little more complicated with the drive shaft and gear box. But check the belts and check the clutch air gap and your normal voltages. I have videos for all of that.

If the clutch checks good make sure you getting proper voltage from the switch if all that checks good it’s going to be a belt/ driveshaft or gear box issues. There’s one belt on the back and one on the deck for those.

Probably important, but not everything has to be greased as often as others. He was getting the major points during this video.

I’m not sure what wheel pivots you’re talking about. If you mean the park brake pivots the tiger cat 2s don’t have them like the tiger cat ones.

They are all important but the spindles and front wheel bearings are your big ticket items.

If you meant the front fork bearings above the front wheels they call for 500 hr or once a year grease. But I did forget to add that to video

He’ll no. The frames are longer, would be a nightmare plus this one has the newer interior, and front end!

The guy I got it from was going to build an rv, I’ve considered 4x4 swapping it and selling it.

Most don’t understand that a 5-10 tube of grease can save them a lot in parts and more in down time.

I use the red high temp grease from Lucas.

It does call for 2 different types for certain areas, but as he wrote, red is for most areas, but a Lithium is used other places.

I use Lucas red high temp but. I try to grease it once a week. The book calls for 25 hour grease increments.

@@Brotherslawn23 I agree on greasing those things every week or every 2 weeks.. I got 7.5 hours on mine and the front caster axles are already squeaking.. I have some of the green Lucas x-duty I may switch over to that. I know one thing, they don’t grease properly from the factory. Mine wasn’t.

@@LS3438 unfortunately it seems some of the quality control has been slipping lately, the dealer is also to blame when they do the presale inspection and pre delivery inspection it should all be checked.

@@LS3438 I am thinking of buying one of these used, and I'd never rely on anyone to do the right thing. You're better off acting as though you are starting from total scratch. Hell, even so called mechanics forget to bolt shit on vehicles etc. I don't trust anyone to do the right thing.

@@tigergreg8 I’ve been going through issues since I purchased back in mid April. Got a call today. Getting an upgrade 36 hp engine , instead of the 32hp version. Hopefully my issues will be resolved. I love the machine but it’s just a terrible experience having to go through what’s happened to me..

I don’t trust the older factory gauges, I would check the machine and make sure it’s charging. With the pro engaged and disengaged.
