This is a Sketch with Eric Morecambe and Ernie Wise entitled Bank Robber.
Keich
Ernie Wise (whois dumb, lazy and greedy and has short fat hairy legs) is trying to get rid of Eric for his own reasons and I can tell that he must've possibly bribe the guest stars (except for Miss Barbra Murray "12:27") to say no to working with Eric, this boy's a fool!, Ern will never learn! 🤣😂
The little old lady did a marvellous job too!
They were brilliant and I loved them! There aren't any comedians like them anymore. Brilliant ❤❤❤❤😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅🤗💯😍😍😍😍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Two of the best comedians ever!!!! Loved them to bits.❤❤❤❤❤😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣💯👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Looks a good film and funny...please upload....
"I'll never use her margarine again!"
I remember the 1970's when men's shirts and ties looked as though they were made out of wallpaper.
Anybody would have considered himself extremely lucky and honoured to work with Eric Morecambe 😂😅😂
Eric and Ernie have never been bettered.
Such a classic. Love their chemistry
"You'd probably miss four eyes" Shots fired. Pun intended.
Our best-ever comedy duo. Thank goodness for videotape. Still in tears of laughter in 2023.
Aww I miss this so much these were the days of good tv shows
Totally ridiculous. Gotta laugh.
😄😃🤣😂😄
Four eyes...not heard that in years
Class
Awsome
In 2022 this is just like ppl texting
Laughing out loud, a comedy classic, the quality of which we rarely see today
Only in Henley!
😊😂😁shear class
Missed a funny.... I dont need a gun....
Nice
Wow Eric has hair. Great seeing them so young. Ernie is so cute
From the days when Comedy sketches were genuinely funny… When they didn’t require expletives every other word… When we could make fun of things that ought to be made fun of - including ourselves - & people didn’t get “offended” if the subject happened to be THEM… or get “offended on behalf of OTHER PEOPLE”… WHETHER OR NOT those other people claimed to be offended. Also, from the days when the audience were addressed as “Ladies & Gentlemen” - without having to worry that there might be imaginary people in between, who were just waiting “to be offended”, because Society doesn’t already pay them more attention than their deeply disturbed imaginations merit…..
Classic
Why is everyone laughing??? This is a video of a bank robbery. Get serious.
Reminds me of the story of the genuine bank robber who wrote 'I have a gun. Give me £10000' on the back of an envelope and gave it to the cashier. On the other side of the envelope was his name and address...
That partition is about as useful as a Covid one
And so text messaging was born.....
The world was a better place with M&W in it.
They never swore even on stage
More like a documentary then a comedy . Bankers ARE truly robbing the public ! 🤣
Before they were funny!
Love to know when this was first broadcast. Can anyone help? Wonderful
I read in Zorba The Greeks autobiography that he was deeply hurt that he'd never been approached to appear in any television plays what Ern wrote, he also expresses regret at Shirley Bassey giving them his number, Shirley Bassey goes on to play Lulu in the quarter final
The sketch isn't much good but their performances are fantastic.
People in the line are pretty stoical.
What do you think of the show so far?
This was just lines on paper
How very irresponsible wasting so much paper. They could have at least Watts app'd each other. 🤔....a golden generation lost.
So unfunny its hilarious
A genius of rehearsal, perfect timing and superb writing
That’s quite an expensive gun ,💷 6000 pounds?
😂
Simply superb! "Go home you silly billy!" Just fantastic.
Classic. They don't make 'em like dat anymore, do dey?
Morecambe and Wise would likely carry off that sketch better than anyone else, even the two Ronnies.
In the quiet bits you can hear audio breakthrough from the vision gallery, a woman's voice.
