Starbucks Banana Bread Copycat Recipe
My recipe is for 800 ml. If you are using an 8.5 x 4.5 x 2.5-inch loaf pan, please double the recipe and bake for 65 to 75 minutes.
■Metric Ingredients
[Recipe for 800ml loaf pan]
2 ripe bananas(240g)
90g brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp milk (15g)
75ml vegetable oil (5tbsp)
140g bread flour
1/2 tsp baking soda(2g)
1/8 tsp cinnamon(0.25g)
30 g walnuts
[Baking time]
180℃ for 60 minutes

    I made this recipe and it was pretty legit! But one thing about the meringue is that it would be better to add the sugar in parts that way it doesn’t way it down therefore making it harder to whip

    Your recipe calls for 6 eggs for 100g of flour, which is way too much. This ratio makes the mixture more like gelatin than a cake. Please review and correct your recipe! 😾😾😾

    Love the insides: well judged, not mushy-wet but instead looks cooked but soft, with proper air bubbles. I think the "right" taste is easier to achieve; after all everyone has a different preference in taste: more/less sweet; stronger/subtler caramel taste or orange taste. Getting the crust to be crusty is also not that difficult. But getting the insides just spongy-moist, not mushy-wet, and just right is really, really tricky. That's why it's the inside that is the dealbreaker or tie-breaker, IMHO. Well done!

    I’ve never seen an apple pie where you cook the apples first. I’ve always put them in raw after tossing with sugar and cinnamon, a squeeze of lemon and dot with butter then put the top pastry on. I’ll have to try this method. Your pastry sounds wonderfully crisp after it’s cooked. It looks wonderful.
