Hi everyone, this is just another update as to what's been going on over the past week. Things are definitely getting so much better, although it was very touch and go throughout the week to be honest. This week was a bit of a struggle, but today I had a lot of positive progress! What has everyone been up to lately?

So this is my second time actually filming this little update video. You would think that I would have planned a little more to say by now. The first time I filmed it, I completely forgot to change the focus settings on my camera, so I filmed the whole video out of focus. I know it's nothing big or special, but I HIT 100 SUBS!! I'm actually really happy with hitting the triple digits and now tick this off my list of gaols! Thank you to everyone out there helping to support this channel, it really means a lot to me.

IT really is so peaceful out in the countryside. I absolutely love the garden, and being surrounded by rice fields and mountains really adds to how tranquil it feels!

Cool video dude, do you like the lifestyle with working from home? Do you have any recommendations for people that are want to pivot into a WFH role?
Yeah I really do enjoy working from home. I sort of just fell into this role after being retrenched during COVID, so it started as hybrid that turned fully remote. I'm not a freelancer or anything like that, and any advice I can give would be based on living in Australia. In saying that, if you do live in AUS, look into water companies as customer service. That isn't what I do, but it's easier, and. the pay is crazy good.

Hi, so I thought I would make a short video about me, this video was very much a last minute decision to make. I had actually planned a very normal vlog type video that I had worked on for about a week, before I scrapped the whole thing and made this. I wanted to use this video as an opportunity to test out different ways to use DaVinci Resolve, and I am somewhat happy with the result. I definitely have a long way to go when it comes to filming and editing, but this was a fun little project. If there is anything that you would like to know about me, feel free to ask in the comments, maybe I'll make a proper video about me another time. Thanks for watching!

This was my first camera! Got it last year and it’s been so much fun. Loved it so much I went into Sonys full frame line up! I watched Sean de wispelaer and Mark Bennet to help me get used to customizing buttons to make using it easier. Best of luck!!

It really is a great beginner camera, I'm really happy with it so far. I'm still getting use to color grading SLOG3 and HLG3 footage, but I'm getting better. Next I want a lens more suited to low light situations. Good luck!

Thank you so much for the kind words! I really do feel comfortable in Japan. Being there with my wife and her family, it really just feels like home. The countryside is especially amazing, and I can't wait for our next visit where I hope to show a lot more amazing places!

So this is the last day of my Travel Diary Series in Japan. I really feel like my overall confidence in making these videos has really improved a lot since I started. Thank you for the kind words! I'm actually planning another trip for the end of this year. There are so many amazing shrines and castles, I feel you could spend a life time trying to see them all. Most older shrines didn't use any nails or anything, the wood structure was all interlocking. It really is incredible how they managed to build things with such massive interlocking pieces.
Wow! What an incredible home. As a car enthusiast I absolutely love that garage and storage. I love how they have little storage rooms outside for random things. Such a beautiful home! Would love to live there!

Thank you so much! As this was a band new display home, there was no price set at the time, so I'm not too sure how much the houses are. We are planning a trip there at the end of 2024 and I'll be in the area, so hopefully they have prices then and I'll post them here. Sorry for the late reply btw!

Watching this video back I noticed I look really tired and to be honest, I really was. It was a pretty stressful week with work and what not, but zoning out while editing this video was actually really good. You should go for sure! I really enjoyed the places in this video and hope to go back myself. There are just so many amazing places, and too little time to see them all. Makes it harder when some places are so amazing that you want to re-visit them like Yōkōkan Garden!

Hi everyone, I hope that you all enjoyed this weeks episode. I apologise for the late upload, I actually released the video as planned but had to take it down. I realised that I made quite a few mistakes in editing. As it turns out, there is still one mistake that I forgot to remove. There is one small section where my audio actually repeats a few words.
