@@ConnorLee My friend had a 98 4Runner 3.4 that he ran like a dog. He flipped it in a crash and we used another vehicle to roll it back over. Police didn't need to be involved. The Runner was destroyed you couldn't see out of the windshield. It still cranked and drove. I put the 3.4 on par with the 7.3 Ford diesel for durability.

I am absolutely loving it so far. Highly recommend using the app to monitor it. I try to charge mine with solar to trickle charge it which I think will help prolong the life of the unit versus wall charging it at a higher wattage.

Looked weird without the roof bar, but I think that balances it out nicely.

I think the roof rack does it justice. Wouldn't look as good without it, but it balances it out IMHO.

@@ConnorLee I have to agree with this rtshort guy. I'm nearly 39 and care more about how something works rather than how it looks. I don't consider that old but for some reason I've always liked those high topper's on 1st Gen's. If it's waterproof there's no way I'm getting rid of it. The mid riser tops that so many use on brand new half ton trucks look weird to me. They also cost an absurd amount of money.

@@ConnorLee No problem brother I remember some videos of yours that seem a few years back. I thought I recognized areas then. You didn't continue uploading much. You're close to Polk county though. Lots of good spots even if you aren't camping it's worth a visit. You could get some ideas. The lake is man made and the Ocoee River from the 1996 Olympics is what feeds it. This time of year you have people from Florida come up here to vacation that area. Plenty of locals would help you out. Ocoee River is covered in river rats and raft guides in the summer that can really help you out. Hell if you want to wait on fall weather I can point them out. I just don't do summer camping. Even with those mountains being several degrees cooler the humidity absolutely sucks. I like cool weather camping and will even camp in the winter while it's snowing over summer camping. I can always put on more clothes.

@@ConnorLee With that said though if you've never experienced the lake, mountains, rivers, creeks in Polk county during the summer that's something you have to do. I've done it my entire life so I'm less inclined to go out there when it's hotter than the Devil's dick. I've rafted the Ocoee River. Been on a number of boats at the lake. From 16' bass boats to 19' skis to 20-22' pontoons and my ex wife her aunt had a 35' houseboat out there at the marina. Depending on how much time and money you have it could easily be a multiple day trip where you're not driving crazy distances. You know how small counties in Tennessee are. We have 95 of them.

Honestly rides like a dream, but my old shocks were totally shot so just about anything would have been better. I’ll be curious how it does once I add a tube bumper and winch up front. Will keep everyone posted!

I still have it and plan to do so, just figured it was a good time to upgrade since I’m fishing a lot more rocky bottom rivers where I live now. A lot more access with a hardbody kayak, but the inflatable will be salvaged with some JB weld soon!
