When I first saw the trailer I said what the hack I just saw it scared me to see it in cinema
I remember seeng just a small part of this movie on TV, but never found the name. Today I Google searched hoping to find it with key words.... Succeeded!
I'm pretty sure this was the 1st film shot at Sydney's Fox studio's in Australia closely followed by The Matrix.

I was 18 years old when this movie came out. Was always one of my favorite. I remember it did crappy in the theaters but I saw it opening day with my girlfriend at the time. Even bought the VHS tape.

Steven Crowder (Louder with Crowder) brought me here. I've never heard of this movie so I've just rented it on CZcams. I'll give my critique in the edit. See ya soon. Edit: Jennifer Connelly, just wow! I could watch her perform "Sway" all day, and the looks she gives while doing it just....Damn. As far as the movie was I thought it was really good. Im not a huge Scifi fan, but when they're made well with a interesting story they can be very good. This was like the movie Inception meets Blade Runner. I believe its so unknown bc it didnt have the "Big Name" actor leading it. Overall it was worth the time and money spent to watch it. Will i ever watch it again...maybe.

One of my favorite films. I'm glad to see others loved this as much as I did!
Truly representation of thought provoking ideas, smart and unusual plot and DARK but interesting characters this is one of those gems that are hidden, but deserved to be digged once in a while because of how different and original they are. I recommend checking it out for sci-fi, noir and thriller fans.

just watched this last night for the first time since seeing it in the theaters when I was 11 years old. almost 20 years ago lol honestly the movie was amazing and totally underated . better than the matrix in my opinion. dark gritty and awesome. I radomly bought it and was well worth it
Exact same case, but i think Matrix had more coherent story and better fleshed out characters. Overall more memorable and quotable movie.
