Hi Paul, As ever, what you say makes perfect sense; "there ain't no quick fixes" to our situation, and progress will be gradual. Keeping John O'Shea on board is most definitely the best way to go, and when all is said and done, they were much better on the day, so really, this result is NOT a bad reflection on him. In addation we were missing some of our regulars, but the silver lining, I suppose is that Tom Cannon got his first cap, and I believe that he is one for the future. Shifting topics, you show great patience with some of the more - frankly - stupid comments that appear from time to time, comments from "fans" who can't see beyond one game at a time. These comments demonstrate that the "negative, cynical mentality" is still very much present in Ireland. For example, over the years some of these "fans" have called for a manager's head when they didn't like his style - for example, during the O'Neill / Keane era - only to call "bring them back!" later on. Some folks you just CAN'T please... Keep up the good work and b@llox the begrudgers.
