Hi there! Welcome to our Chanel. I’m Courtney, I’m hearing. My husband is Zachary, he is Deaf, and our daughters name is Madison, she too is hearing. We are a Deaf and hearing family.
We use sign language to communicate as a family, but Madison and I also use spoken English. We love sharing our everyday life, our travels and the unique things about our relationship and family!

Being vulnerable
This actually happened last week, although I’m just now getting around to posting about it.
But why am I sharing this? Two reasons:
1. I want others in relationships to understand that all relationships require work and effort. There’s no such thing as a perfect relationship; people argue, disagree, and experience emotions, sometimes reacting instead of responding maturely.
2. There is hope. Reconciliation and resolution are possible. It’s not easy; it requires each person to be committed to humbly listening to the other, validating feelings, forgiving, and discussing solutions for moving forward. This journey isn’t easy; for some, it means letting go of pride, while for others, it requires genuine forgiveness. I firmly believe that with God, all things are possible.
Matthew 19:26 says, “Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’”

I think we practiced this trend for a total of 2 hours 😅 We practiced for like 1hr one day then an hour the next day. Then it took about 30 min of filming and trying to get it right with the sound. I read hundreds of doctors and patients' names in medical records all day long...I would not hesitate for one single second to believe someone's name was "Deaf". Maybe try "Deaf Customer" or "I'm Deaf".

Heres a way to really make him understand. Words have a slight impact on us. So its not just that were registering whats being said but its like were getting a mental tap. So also give him a small tap every time as well and then hell understand the overstimulation really well

Quick and silly question and an interested question. Could we see the signs for each of your names and maybe other names as well and their origin? My understanding is that your name is ASL is only given by someone who is deaf. No hearing person should make up a name. Lastly, could you show an interpretation of a Bible verse and maybe a quote or two with significance? My favorite verse of all time is 2 Timothy 1:7. I struggled with a lot of fear and anxiety in my 20s and 30s. I clung to this verse to help me during those times.

Many people think they have God in their life but they don't because they were not saved the right way.
This sounds like you're speaking about someone specific. I think it's unwise to generalize in this way, when it comes to people's salvation. Jesus said to the man on the cross next to him, that he would have a place for him in heaven. That man on the cross didn't have time for baptism, works, or anything but believe.
@@s731s First of all, I said, "Many people..." which means I wasn't talking about anyone specific. Second of all, with the account of Jesus and the man on their crosses, Jesus said he would be in Paradise, NOT Heaven. No man is in Heaven except Jesus Christ (John 3:13). Third of all, Jesus while on Earth had power to forgive people of their sins, but now that he is in Heaven on the right side of his Father, scripture makes it clear that to be forgiven, we must hear, believe, repent, confess and be baptized. The situation to the man on the cross does NOT apply to us today. Furthermore, there must be works with our faith. James 2:24 - Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. Belief is not sufficient. People who believe on a faith-only basis are not saved. In the book of Acts, when Peter was teaching the people, they were pricked in their heart and asked the apostles what they needed to do. Peter didn't say, "Believe and you will be saved." Acts 2:38 - Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. So, if one believes and is not baptized, he/she does not have their sins washed away and do not have the Holy Spirit.
