Here are to two programs I used to create my photos...
1. Adobe Lightroom
Here I was able to edit the photo using Presets!
I recommend browsing Etsy and purchasing a variety of presets that will enhance your photos.
2. Canva
Canva is free to use, but some of the features I use in this video are only available with Canva Pro.
Canva pro is about $10 a month, but there is also a free trial
Use the background remover and add your own elements to the background!

      All the apps I use on my iPad are free! I also occasionally use procreate which I believe is about 7 dollars and is super worth it!

    Thanks for the video! I will definitely try this. I do have a question though. What is the advantage of tracing the printed copy from the glowforge bed versus bringing in the digital file? Maybe Magic Eraser doesn't let you save as a png or svg? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

      I have been using the trace method because it helped me a make a more even engrave on the bamboo board!

      @@debchabotte6634 Hello! Make sure the file and image doesn't look fuzzy first. If its clear then make sure the camera is clean. If the camera in the glowforge is dirty when it takes the picture it'll look blurry and that will make the engrave look blurry. If none of that works I would suggest just directly uploading the edited recipe file into the glowforge program! Hope this helps!

    Thank you! This is so helpful! I just engraved my first recipe on a cutting board. It turned out great! My son had already cleaned up the recipe in AI but with your explanation, I feel more confident to try and do that step myself next time.
