The guy on the keyboard is Rodger Waters. He is a member from the band from the original start. He wrote the lyrics to the album The Wall. Except for Comfortably Numb which David Gilmour and Rodger Waters wrote the lyrics. There's a few other lyrics in the wall that Rodger did not write. But basically the album The Wall is about Rodger Waters childhood experience. And he puts it down in writing the most beautiful album I've listened to Period not to mention the movie The wall I watch For an hour and a half, it's like a video the correlates with the wall album. This song is extraordinary in that it has both incredible meaning And a melody that is nearly unrivaled. This makes it difficult for me to separate the two, as the whole is greater than the sum of those two parts. I am 74 and for decades have not heard this song until the internet/CZcams. Yet I remembered this song as if it was sung yesterday.
