PATAGONMAN is a point to point race starting in the western part of Aysén, one of the most southern regions of Latin America, then leading east to finish at the eastern part of this region. The course starts at the scenic Aysén Fjord, close to Puerto Chacabuco and finishes at the impressive General Carrera Lake. The course across Patagonia is both breathtakingly beautiful and extremely challenging.

PATAGONMAN is an unforgettable journey through one of the most amazing natural settings of the world. The weather is 100% unpredictable but the price at the finish line is absolutely worth it. When crossing the finish line the athletes will receive not only a medal but also the biggest sense of accomplishment that a triathlete can feel.
It's more about the journey than about the time it takes you to complete the race. This is the type of race where you find yourself like you really are. It is as much of a physical race as it is a spiritual ride. This is a triathlon for the ones who have found their real love for the sport, for those who have endure in "full iron" or at least "half iron" distance triathlons.

The 2024 edition of PATAGONMAN will take place on December 1st and the lottery registration is already open. Anyone from any place in the world can buy a lottery ticket* to participate for a slot in this unique adventure. Only 300 athletes will be selected each year.

Goosebumps to see this documentary 6 weeks after reaching the finish line in Puerto Ibanez. I'm still looking at the race photo's on a daily basis. What a passion, dedication and love for this this amazing sport you demonstrated. By far the best triathlon event in the World.
