Hey! Looking to stay in Merida for a couple months but finding it hard to locate an area that meets all my needs. hoping for some help. I will not have a car, but also can't be in a loud area due to working from home (client meetings all day). I'd like to be in walking distance of grocery store and short uber distance to downtown and all the cool place to see on the weekends. So close to where things are convenient but far enough where it is quiet. Is this possible? Any tips on an area that fits these?

Firstly, We do have mortgage facilities, Federal Mortgage bank , other financial institutions, but 95% of Nigerian's buy houses outrightly, cash straight. The major thing in our real Estate sector is the spread out payment plan. Developer- ownership partnership. But most rich Nigerians buy houses in cash , full payment.

Let me sketch you a scenario - most gang members are part of two gangs….one that is on the outside of prison and another that born in prison irrespective which outside gang you belong to (aka the numbers gang 26, 27 and 28) you can do further research on that if you wish. Since South Africa has done away with the death penalty decades ago…these gang members are well aware of that fact and thus capitalise on it. To kill someone in their world earns you respect amongst gang members. For many of these gangsters, they prefer being in prison because inside prison they have status, power and respect. To them it’s like a 5 star vacation, depending where they rank in the gangs hierarchy. In many cases they make more money inside than what they do outside. My point is this…if killing earns your respect and power and a possible promotion in rank…and life is better inside prison…and on top of that you know that the death penalty does not exist. These guys have every incentive to kill or commit the most heinous of crimes (ie murder, rape etc) just to get back inside prison especially when life outside becomes tough for them. Hence I say, the death penalty will change behaviour in my opinion.

I’m from this area - in my opinion, South Africa should reinstate the death penalty (I know it’s very controversial) but I believe it will deter crime.

Before I started my business I worked for 3years to save up for my business. Because nobody is giving you nothing So we work for everything we own
