6 year old tutorial, and the program has changed so some things need a little googling to see where they've moved to either in the program(s) or the workflow. Even with having to suppliment this video with other resources, being taken through the whole process and being told why things are done as well as how, has made this series easily one of the best to lear KiKad with.

Is it possible to "test" the camera before buying it by emulating videos or link the IDE to a phone for example ?

Tip: Use ffmpeg to crunch this down to video/webp/gif/whatever. This is likely to be your fastest option, doesn't require opening or manipulating the image stack at all, and it's free. You can adjust timing, hardware acceleration, resolution, even add an audio track. Bonus point, you can use it to create an archival master video to pull into your favourite NLE for a graphical workflow.

Nah, ill go for a pcb as much as possible. Teaches you pcb design principles even if a small product batch or hobby

Sure, it beats fabricating with scrap iron and a welder, but you missed a key point: Price from economies of scale. You can get a load of this stuff for cheap.

You skipped too fast to follow all steps how to install SDK and libraries. I am so desperate by now.

No way to get it working. Plenty of errors. Unable to understand where to install SDK actually. And libraries, it complains constantly it can't find libraries. I do specified exactly folder with all, but no hope.
