    As a Southern Chinese person with Kaifeng Israelite ancestry, I really dislike speculative misinformation about "sin", "sino", or the "land of sin". You are playing phoenitic rhyming games as if Chinese is somehow similar or comparable to English. As a semitic pictographic language it DOES NOT operate like English or any Western European languages... It's closer to Egyptian hieroglyphs in construction! While "land of sin" is true as a biblical reference to areas East of Israel and Persia, this was not a term that people in China used to identify ourselves, at least not anything I have read or come across in Chinese history. Thus, it's super disrespectful and bigoted to insist on calling us this, bringing it up, and make a whole video using that as the premise. Think the word "negro". We have had various identities, from "Zhou" Dynasty People 周人, to "Tang" Dynasty People 唐人, to "Han" Dynasty People 漢人, etc, etc. But the EARLIEST and COMMON identity we all share BEFORE our incestuous infighting and numerous civil wars was the "Wah" People 華人, meaning the "flowery" and "illustrious" people, that is the People of Wah, the same "wah" in Jehovah 耶和華. This is the official name used official Chinese buildings, such as language associations, churches, etc. Especially any place that is not emphasising any political or dynastic affiliation will state this neutral and super ancient title that ALL Chinese people internationally will happily embrace and accept without offence. Even the word "Chinese" is nonsense. Nobody in China or within Asian circles says this word or pronounces anything sounding remotely similar to this Western term. Often we say "Middle Kingdom People" 中國人 jung gwok yan, and that is the NATIONAL identity, originating when the capital was in Luoyang Central China. I suggest learning about "Wah Haa" 華夏 huaxia and the origin of "Heaven's Mandate" 天命 alongside official lists of aristocratic Chinese names on the Hundred Family Names list matching names on the Kaifeng Stele (Kaifeng Jews), that states ancestry from Adam, Eve (Nuwa), Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, the 12 Tribes, and Aharon (Aaron), until the ZHOU DYNASTY when we first entered China using the "Mandate of Heaven" to invade the then Shang dynasty who practiced human sacrifice, divination, and witchcraft. David D Pankenier has academic details of the astronomy and cosmological significance. There were waves of arrival coinciding with wars in Israel/Jerusalem but the earliest "Chinese" arrival into the land of China by Zhou people was in 1046 BC, the same year that Northern Kingdom of Israel was established. You will find that many "Kaifeng Jewish" Chinese names are references to territories just outside of Jerusalem. - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huaxia - zh.wikipedia.org/zh-tw/%E5%8D%8E%E4%BA%BA

    @videoparables To be honest... What the Jews had that the Chinese didn't have was the written Word of God. The prophecies and the prophets... Was it a guarantee to salvation when you posses God's Word? It depends... But you're already at the front door... John chapter 3 mentions Moses and the Israelites in the wilderness... And just by the fact that Jesus Himself quoted John 3, it speaks volumes. God expects the Old Testament saints after Exodus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, the united and divided kingdom to be saved in the same way... Now, you might argue that the accounts of the serpent being lifted up in Numbers, as was quoted by Jesus, only refers to physical salvation... But... Not entirely correct... Jesus' biblical interpretation would state otherwise... John chapter 3 also includes spiritual salvation... Eternal life... The context of John chapter 3 is regeneration... So, there you go... God's written Word or revelation is also a necessity...

    Liberal scholarship has a tendency to be agnostic and not precise or unsure... When you listen to a liberal scholar preach... You'd get more of an agnostic talking nonsense... Not addressing or tackling the text per se... Thet have a tendency to beat around the bush and as you reach the end, you'd only get to nowhere... Just a waste of time... God is still lying hidden within the text... You have not really encountered God personally... Waste of time...

  • @rucellegarciano4105
    @rucellegarciano4105 Před měsícem

    To be more precise... I leave with this statement... When we talk about revelation, to which do we attribute this? To the event in history? Or, to the words that comments along with the event? When you focus on the events only... You get liberal scholarship... When you focus on the words that comments along the events in Scriptures, you get - fundamentalism. I am not using "fundamentalist" as derogatory... In fact, they are heroes in Christendom because at a time when the virgin birth or resurrection were unpopular, it was the fundamentalists who championed these doctrines... Not so with "liberalism" or Christian liberals... That is for all its denotation, a deviation and a derogation... So... In order to be orthodox... You take the Word-Event-Word model of revelation. Because God is the Author... Of course, we could also touch "inspiration" and human authorship... But if you look closely in the events in the Bible... Whenever there is an event, God gives a commentary prior and after the event...

      Thank you for your thoughtful comments, Rucelle. Every one of your comments is correct, to my understanding. And you are correct that Christ Jesus is the only Way, Truth, and Light for us today. Were there people saved before Christ came and became the perfect sacrifice. Yes, of course. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the Old Testament saints looked "forward" to the perfect sacrifice, not knowing all the details, but trusting by faith. Can we be certain that there were Chinese who were saved prior to the gospel being fulfilled? I'm not sure, but I would hope so. It all depends upon what they believed and acted upon according to the light they were given. The generation after the flood of Noah's day certainly had enough knowledge of God and how he saved them from the flood. The animal sacrifices would have rightly been offered to Him. But over time, as always happens, the light is distorted by Satan. The early Chinese seem to have held onto the proper meaning of the sacrifices and the God they were honoring for the longest time, though their meaning too has become lost to the Chinese people. Our hope for the video is that the Chinese people will once again recognize the Supreme God of their earliest history who is now calling them to salvation through the perfect sacrifice of his One and Only Son. Thank you again for your thoughtful comments.

    True faith has three ingredients... The first two of these ingredients, we use on common historical figures like chairman Mao. #1 Knowledge of a historical fact or facts. Example: Chairman Mao was communist China's first leader after the civil war with the Kuomintang. #2 Assent of that historical fact... Example: "I believe that it is true that chairman Mao was China's first political leader after the civil war with the Kuomintang." (But here is where chairman Mao falls short of Shangi Di or Jesus Christ...) #3 "I put my trust on the person of Jesus Christ as Shang Di." Clarification: To further elaborate on "trust", imagine that Jesus Christ as Shang Di is a chair... Trusting in Jesus Christ means putting all your life and weight on sitting on that chair without even asking if by sitting, you will fall or not.

    Question: Were there believers in China 2500 years before Christ? My answer: Could be... I don't know... I am not God... Also me: But the Bible is clear... The possessor of true faith are the ones who are saved. Not by membership in Roman Catholicism or Protestant church. But... A possessor of true faith...

    It is generally known by all Christians that the origin or demarcation of salvation is Jesus Christ. By demarcation, what I take to mean is the point in time that separates the Old Testament saints from the New Testament saints. So, can someone who was born during the 2500 BC be saved? Yes, can be... But it is not the confession of true faith that can one be saved. Rather, it is through the possession of true faith.

    What do I mean about "through true faith"? By faith, I am not referring to religion as the usage of the word could also mean "of different faiths".

    Knowledge of God alone can't save someone... It is only though true faith can one be saved...

    At most... What this video is pointing to is what we call "natural revelation". Meaning, through creation, man as endowed with "common grace" can deduce that there is a start... A Creator... And that He is above, He is one and He is holy. The only problem with "natural revelation" is that, it could not save someone from his or her sins...

    Amazing accout of history, professional and interesting delivery. One suggestion: get a professional to do your intro. Might be the difference between someone watching and not (it's kind of 1990s style)

    Ick…. Go from talking about the feats of martyrs to the heroism of a person trying to split the church over personal convictions. The greeks always had liturgy in greek and never were forced to switch to latin. Croatian was an evolving language at that time and if he mistranslated to illiterate people they would all be corrupted and him worst of all. That’s why they kept it in Latin. Protestants falsely think that everyone could read and that the priest’s homilies at that time were in latin which would be a foreign language. The priest would interpret and explain the scriptures for them like they’re been doing since the priesthood was established in the old covenant. Channels like these produce more bias and less understanding. If you dont look up the counter information, then you arent thinking critically. Basically any belief you can think of, there’s counter information to that. Aside from logical contradictions like a 4 sided triangle, nobodys arguing for that. My point is, before you establish facts in your head check to see if they are facts or just opinions like this video presents and make a critical decision. Its frustrating when you hear ridiculous claims against the church and you can tell the only history they know is one taught by a biased person with an axe to grind.
