Taming Overgrown Field Edges With A Skid Steer Brush Cutter : John Deere 326E
In this video I get to try out a skid steer brush cutter for the first time. I've got it hooked up to the John Deere 326E skid steer, and I get right to work.
This mower is one of the cheaper and lighter built varieties of mower but I think it performs quite well. I'm working on getting the boundaries of the back hay fields under control. Its amazing how quickly you can lose precious acres when you neglect to keep your edges mowed off.

      @oilfarmer706 Před 10 dny

      @jimthode thanks! I agree. I try to leave it a little low on the stump so I have room to pick up once I get up against it to put more weight on the tracks. One time when I was a kid dad was pushing a stump out and the blade jumped over it and got stuck behind the C frame, blade wouldn't pick up high enough to go back over it. That was a mess I'd rather not re-create lol Thanks for watching!

    Nice 3T. I see it has the remains of the factory canopy. I remanufactured the wood portions from cat blueprints for my 1H D8. You are fortunate to have some good patterns from your existing oak. Something to consider if you want a bit of shade. Either way, nice tractor and video.

    Glad to see you and the truck back. Those top loader axles are tough as nails. Very sorry to hear about your Dad. It's tough losing a parent. Mine have been gone for many years now. Doesn't make it any easier though. Don't sweat the videos. We or at least I will be here when you post again. I want to see you complete the truck. Again take care and the best of the new year to you and yours...
