Yes but again, that’s the only point of comparison really for the movie… also I know they put in a lot of time into research but yes could’ve had a tighter script. It’s always going to be difficult making an Air Force movie after Tom cruise has delivered an epitome of a movie in that category

Quite a few things. 1) it gives you an insight into how something written was shot and executed. Where did they use camera movement, sound, vfx to bring tbe scene to life. 2) dialogue delivery and acting 3) and most interesting - oftentimes the scripts vary from what’s actually said so you get to see how some of the most iconic dialogues/scenes were actually improvised

I plan on doing this for other departments as well and hope to get those perspectives out in as true a way as possible

Mostly as soon as they join. After their NDAs and contracts are signed. Typically all ADs are onboarded only once the script is more or less final. Otherwise you have an AD or 2, that typically works with the writer/director through the process while the scripts are being written/finalized and once they’re closed to being finalized they bring the whole team on board

Yeah it definitely feels odd…I feel like slumdog millionaire was more accurate even though it had a lot of Indian dialogues. Plus it feels like anytime anyone talks in Hindi it’s mostly a gaali, with Ashwini really overdoing it. But still, I wouldn’t call it an average film. I know John wick is obviously bigger and better but given the budget this had… I think they did a phenomenal job with the action.
