What’s another name for the taping line, if I’m correct?
@@nanayaaagyemang3997 honestly I don’t know of any other name yet. But let me try and explain. Maybe you’ll get the demonstration of where the tapering line is.
1. Taking measurement vertically , it’s the mid session of your hip and knee. Or 2. You know when you’re making a mermaid skirt, the point where the skirt stops being fitted and transitions into a flare. That part is what I called tapering line. So we have Around tapering and Tapering line. To measure Around tapering , you’ll place your tape measure around as if you’re measuring your hip, but this time around it’s the area between your hip and knee. Around tapering is usually 3 inches above your knee. To measure your tapering line, you start from your waist to about 3 inches above your knee. Standard measurement is usually 17inches for average height. 15-16 inches for shorter people. That is what I was taught in fashion school. So I have known it as tapering line and around tapering. But I’ll do some research to find out other names❤️❤️ I hope this was helpful 🙏🏾

Mama, how many yards did you use?
Sorry I forgot to mention that in the video. I used 4 yards of the plain kente and 4 yards of the pattern kente. So making 8 yards in total
