I dont like the grout lines painted. I'm doing mine without it. I'm wondering if they used the Rustolium paint.

can you use masking tape on the tiles so you can paint between them? maybe that will make the work easier :)

I think I would mask off and do one at a time and not paint grout and then go in with another gray shade to give a slight marble look to it.

What kind of paint did you use? And what sheen?

The Flat Rate setup doesn't quite work as described (although it should!). For an order of one item, Squarespace applies BOTH the Per Order Fee AND the Fee Per Item. Example: You want to charge $5 shipping for a single coffee mug, then $2 for more for each mug added to the order. That's not possible. Squarespace sees it as BOTH an order and an item...so your single mug customers are charged $7. Very frustrating! Solutions are welcome!

How can I have my notecards (for example)come up with one shipping cost option at check out? or for my paintings or prints Or Should I have a flat rate for every purchase to make it easy and eat any additional costs? Came here looking for ideas, and love that you painted this. I am wanting to paint my tiles, mine are the very ugly old stick on vinyl flooring. I have many pieces that are torn, so Idk what I can do but gonna try and see if I can fix it and smooth it out with paint and fill in missing pieces with some random stick on tile and paint it. not too expensive to try, just time. :)

I think a checkerboard pattern, gray and white, would have been classically beautiful and interesting. The base boards need painting in my bathroom too. Wouldn't you do them before the tile? Or no? The bright white on the floor makes the baseboards look kind of dirty.

to anyone new here, NEVER paint your floors, unless you're only gonna wear socks on it and baby it. JUST DON'T DO IT !!!! Can of worms. These bandaid methods look good initially, but never hold up long term. Just look at the low rated home depot reviews to see how bad it gets. I mean think about it... you think a couple layers of paint are gonna hold up to real wear and tear traffic?... shoes with sand, furniture dragging, etc

Hi... thank you for your knowledge. I have a question. I want to have a landing page ... but not make it my home page. I would like my URL to take you to a landing page ... then press enter to take you top a home page then while navigating to different pages , the site title page should take you to the home page every time... However, I can't seem to separate the landing and home page. If I make my landing my home page .. every time I hit my site title it take me there ... how do I change and control where my site title will take you to.. In version 7.0 thank you .. James

This is really great!! We cannot afford to re tile our bathroom floor so I was looking for other options. My husband wants black and white checkers so we shall see how that goes lol I am contemplating black grout lines but will keep mowing it over. Thanks for the tips!!

When painting the grout lay a ruler or thin cardboard on tile, that way if it goes over. No worries👍☺️

Katherine, forgive me if I missed this in the video, but is there a way to employ a spotify playlist on the home/landing page of my squarespace site under the following conditions: 1. Play the playlist songs at random and/or repeat the playlist? 2. Start playing (random song from playlist) automatically when users arrive at the home/landing page, meaning they do not have to press play? 3. Have the music stop after advancing to ANY OTHER page on the site, meaning it is only designed for the home/landing page? 4. Lastly, that the "music player" is hidden, meaning the user/visitor has no control over or even visibility to the music player itself - it is in the background, playing music on the home page, ideally underneath a video (with no sound) that plays continuously? THANKS!!!!

Keep a jar of thinner around to clean up mistakes. Relax and have fun with it.

Painting a floor and two top coats then not even a full day to get really dry you have people over? I give it a good day or so to dry before having people over and walking on it.
