💙 Relax with Me: Enjoy the quiet sounds of the CREEK WATER as it flows under an Old Willow Tree Root
Sit with me by the side of the pond. The trickling sounds of the creek are calming and peaceful, as the water flows into the duck pond, going on its path under the roots of an old Willow tree. In this video, my backyard pet ducks are doing their morning routine, cleaning themselves, preening, swimming around the pond a little. Not very active yet, it's a slow start to a beautiful day.

That last one was called mallow. And it’s a medicinal plant. Even though you got the root, it will have dropped several seeds and several more will sprout up. They are like an alien invasion. I tried for years to stay on top of it but was not able and now my back yard is abandoned.

Well I have an "abandoned backyard" that I am slowly trying to clean up, so I will definitely encounter many more. 🌱 Haha, now I want to let it flower and see what that looks like. @@APDJAdventures the flowers are tiny! They create little button shaped pods that I believe people eat. It’s an interesting plant to read up on. It’s related to okra. The leaves can be dried and powdered and added to stews for thickness.

@@MokaandChaiYes! 🤗 I am beyond grateful for all life has blessed me with and I am always in awe of the graceful beauty, enduring strength, and the awesome power of Mother Nature. 🌱 I was just reading something today about the "sense of wonderment - indescribable awe" and that's how I feel whether I am pulling weeds or exploring the creek. I find it very grounding and it brings me a peace and contentment I've never experienced before. 💕 May your life be filled with blessings as well. 🤗
I pull weeds by hand normally and I had some time this week to go to town on it but I couldn’t. So frustrating that it hasn’t rained in so long that every weed I tried to pull came up with a huge clump of dirt. So I’m resigned to wait till we get some rain.

Great job! You have to try with one boot the further mud to see if it is still safe. Or use a stick.
