    Thank you for the video. I had a problem where the rollers that the belt ride on, have rubber that grips the belt, and the rubber melted off. I bought replacement rollers and managed to replace one very easily. The "drive" roller on the other hand, just can't figure out how to change it out. Fortunately, that roller still has some rubber so I will use it for now. I was wondering if you could make a video or direct me to someplace that can explain how to change out that roller. Thank you

    Regarding the HEPA Filter, the main reason for it is likely due to the filter from fine dust such as drywall or other types of fine suspended solids = a very wise design in my opinion and for the longevity of the vacuum's life.

    • @toolamanjaro929
      @toolamanjaro929 Před 11 dny

      Dust coming from drywall has very large particles, in the 10 micron size. HEPA is absolutely not needed for that.

    Just out of curiosity, was the fence out that much when you first got the saw? I believe the saw adjustment wasn't really necessary (.0005" is more of a metalworking tolerance than woodworking), but .0125 is marginal. Does the manual specify the tolerance for these measurements (blade/arbor runout is another one to check). Thanks for the video.

    It's a stubby mid-torque impact wrench. 650 ft lbs is a lot for it to break. I own the DCF921, and it has never failed me working on my car. However, sometimes you need to bust out the heavier tools, as there is a limit to the force that you're going to get from an impact with such a compact housing.

  • @glennduke7621

    If that thing scares you and if you have nails bouncing around you don't really need to work with any tools without knowing safety 1. Put a bucket under where the nails come out 2. Don't put it on your body 3. Put the damn wood on something hard like a table and a hole where the nail is coming out

    If you use a grey backing sheet, as opposed to black, the auto exposure system in your camera won't make you so over exposed. It sees the large black area and tries to make it gray, this makes gray things look white.

    I would of put the Z axis on the knee instead of the quill since you have more fine control and is more rigid and just get a caliper for the quill.

    Thank you! I’m going to use hide glue titebond to float tongue and groove solid oak over cork, thinking it will be the healthy choice as it is more natural. The wood is unfinished and will be stained with tung. At 500lbs strength, it should hold up rather well! That was key information for this uncommon situation.

    I dont think anyone mounts the scales sideways most lathes will mount them in the downward position, you can change the decimal point to where you want, you do not need tape. I have had 3 of them on different machines, works perfect, The manual with mine was spot on,

    That's the same manual that came with my ToAuto. I mounted the scale to the cross slide on my 15x58" LeBlond and the encoder to the carriage where the follow rest would mount and I use the shield. Slot in the scale is on the bottom on both scales. Set an indicator on top of the slide and move the cross slide to level it. I only used one of those L Brackets for the encoder for the rear that mounts to the carriage. I have no issues. I can send you photos if needed.

    Nice video and tests! I'm a titebibd 2 user, though I'm more on the construction side of things with trim work and and misc wood projects where rapid glueup time is much more of a concern. I also reason that the water resistance will help with overall longevity of the joints as it will resist humidity and unforeseen moisture condition though I dont have anything to back that up. If i want a longer glueup or it is for exterior work i go with titebond 3, I generally don't use titebond 1.
