My channel is about learning to be more self sufficient in a world that is increasingly fake, hollow, fragile and morally bankrupt. Our so called leaders are liars and cowards; our food is becoming imported, contaminated garbage; our people are increasingly immoral, irresponsible, lazy and dependent.

Why does the pliers have to be US made? That's not the easiest thing to locate over here 😅
You could use the bottom section cut out the bottom and have another throat .
Technically you can do that anywhere the water is wet.
your hat is pathetic
GRID-down is meaningless to y'all.. CONGRATS
HUGE Thank you for sharing.. cause GRID-down is a coming
What's your pan tension set at? Looks like your cranking on the pan to get it to fire
Conibear style traps don't need chain. Just a little piece of wire.
Nope. Catch an animal by the tail or the foot, and you’ll learn the hard way.
The smaller ones are perfect mink traps .
Absolutely valuable information for a first time snare trapper like me. Thank you so much.
I ordered snares from Southern Snares a few days ago and they arrived today....just before I watched your video! My first set of snares.
So guy's? Does it work?
I like the concept and it looks promising to me. Have you had some success with the pipes, or have you moved on to more productive sets?
lol...Im sorry...who is the uneducated dope who thinks trapping isnt a good way to get meat?
That greese is actually there for lubrication when its going through the machines and to keep it from rusting in factory as well.
I have always loved XS Sights, and it makes me so happy to hear someone sing the praises of this system. Got one on my Marlin 1895, and it is exemplary.
I can break down large game in the field with any zipper knife, especially made by Buck but doesn't matter. You can do anything with any knife, but if you're trying to save the pelt or something then yeah you need specialty knives. Don't really need a saw when you have the hatchet either
Love your hat.
If you step out of boat and touch the bottom is considered trespassing then won't staking tour snare to the bottom also be considered trespassing? Wouldn't that be the same if I didn't have permission on the other side of a fence where I see a good trial so instead of crossing the fence I just reach over and place my snare while still on my side of the fence? And if you can stake it to the bottom which is private property then shouldt you then also be able to stake on the bank of the same property?
Good content. That last trap you showed with the U for the safety. I'm thinking u could thread the ends and get a plate to put on the back side with some nuts. You don't have to tighten the nuts super tite. That way, you don't lose your safety or get bit. I'm new to trapping. I tuned in for the conibear traps. I like that chaulk gun setting tool. Thanks for the video
The information I was looking for! I'm going to be picking up a few of the 110s.
Another good series! Thanks for your efforts. I feel I'm learning with every video.
I need it plz help
Another great series! Thanks again for sharing your experience and knowledge.
I'm brand new to the sport and trying to learn all I can. I'm finding your videos very informative, and well done. Thanks for sharing!
Great instruction. A great value.
Great info. Funny, the guy you recommed for supplies is in New Jersey, I live there and would never have guessed ANY trappers existed in this, as I call it, Occupied Territory, of NJ.
Great info. I wouldn't have thought the wood stake was secure, but what you said makes sense. (and you know what you are talking about, more importanly). Thanks
I really like this idea. But you reference the trigger wire and lock wire as “trapping wire?” What is that and where can it be obtained?
It’s just annealed wire so it will bend easy and not break.
How do you compare the Fire N Bone to the Triple X?
Big brother vs little brother. Virtually the same, just one is bigger, thicker and stouter. The Triple X also has a more stout, piercing point.
Curious if you have messed with the WC fieldlore. Seems like it might have the master bushman and some of the triple x wrapped together. You think flat portion is enough for skinning?
I looked long and hard at the Fieldlore. In the end I decided it simply didn’t have enough belly to be an effective skinner so I passed.
@@Meattrapper Thanks for response. I like the tooth and scandi portion, but an looking for a some food prep and carving with possibility of some skinning if needed. Of all current developed models you would say triple X is that? How is it for slicing food prep if necessary?
I e not had any critters intrested in this lure
Nothing fair in survival
All I get is a black screen
Awesome video! I have a raccoon and groundhog (and deer!!) infestation. Just bought a Duke 220 body trap, safety gripper, set tool, and a KB body trap stabilizer. Nothing comes with instructions and I'm totally unfamiliar with these devices. I got the trap set ok but the KB stabilizer had me stumped......until I watched your video. Even though you did not demo this stabilizer, once I saw the methods you did go over, I instantly got it. Thanks so much, just subscribed.
Instead of the replacement clips use a piece of 1/4" flat steel and cut a groove to make your clip, then cable one to each trap.
Like your video on b& L traps been river trapper for many years Have used just about every long spring trap made including some new house which is the Cadillac of long springs But my go to traps where the Blake& Lamb brand if taken care of they would stay strong they have powerful springs that never seem to weaken You are doing the young guys a favor by telling them about the older traps!! And I certainly agree with you there's nothing in the world wrong with the old long spring traps 👍✌️
Caught my first muskrat in a number one and a half that was in 1957
Good on you for the visual of the glands. I always liked this one way it was described to me. “Armpits and back of knees. Same for anything that sweats or stinks”
4 years later and he's still right on point!
Instead of the rubber band you could use a cord with a weight to pull tension.
Thanks Meat Trapper, I've never heard your 1st name or I would've used it.... As for myself, I enjoy all of the videos you've put out so far; I'm learning alot from your stuff... I'm an arm amputee & enjoy being outdoors aswell, Alabama is my home State also, I've lived in Georgia for quite sometime. I also do whatever I can to feed my family.... I also think & believe you're SPOT ON with your Poaching video!! You're absolutely correct especially with the Government & Contractors, thinking everything is fine if We as a whole throws Enough $$ their way !! We & all the Wildlife need to keep as much Natural Environment as Possible!! Thanks for all you do Good Sir , Keep it Up
I built 3 of these some 15 years ago, but I used a heat gun for bending the spears on the throat... No string ever needed... and they're as perfect as the day I bent them... They work great...Great video...
Meat trapper where do you get the compression spring from?
Good trap,good vid. Thankx
when you say it doesn't matter what size cable, is that because less leverage by being caught around the foot? so I could use smaller than normal on deer or goats?
Hey bud do you ever trap with palmetto mountain man? Great video very educational
Excellent video
what size cable would you recommend for red deer/goats?
3/32 1x19 will hold anything up to and including wild hogs.
@@Meattrapper thank you
