I love James Taylor’s music but I don’t subscribe to his lifestyle. I’m 69 now and I was 15 yrs old when JT rose to fame. I came out of the turbulent 70s and 80s unscathed. Thanks to Mom and Dad for their enduring guidance.
I loved their duets. Carly Simon's voice harmonizes so well with his. Her talent for harmony, in addition to song writing, is just incredible.

JT is one of the best acoustic guitar pickers out there. He's not flashy like the bluegrass monsters who can melt your face, but he has a style all his own, and his timing is perfect. No one sounds like him.
I saw him once at Pine Knob in Michigan. There is no one who can surpass him in how he moves the soul.
