I tried this same trick on my 2021 690 enduro r, it doesnt work. It works on older bikes fine. Sure seems like it should, but no matter what I do with any magnet or the stock magnet. It wont work. Some say taping the magnet on could possibly have the magnet get loose or move. I ordered the ridiculously expensive module from Slavens.

GSA was the 911 Porsche of the Motorcycles. Porsche killed it by pushing the prices to well over mid 100K for even a base model, and BMW killed it with that Ugly Lego design. I owned both, the 911 and GS multiple times. And now, I would not touch neither. Both Companies strived immensely with $2 Trillion Dollars handed out by the Fed Reserve in Panic Mode. Going forward, $35K price with tax and tags, BMW will have hard time selling the 1300 GSA, just like the Market is flooded with $250K Porsche 911s now. With the $1,250 Cash back, plus the Dealer discount and supported finance rate, 1250 GSA is the most intelligence choice. Happy rides.

I have always wanted a GSA and I finally pulled the trigger on one this spring. I have yet to gel with the bike but in my defense I haven't had much time to stack many miles on it yet either. I find myself eyeing the 1300 GS Trophy but I refuse to buy a first year bike so for now I'll keep the 1250 and enjoy it for a few more years until I can no longer fight the urge to upgrade to a 1300.

What I did was attach two smallish rare earth magnets to my frame. Just in case I knock off the magnet on my kick stand in the bush. What it also does is makes the bike light up like an 18 wheeler at traffic lights that have the sensors in the pavement. I no longer get stuck at lights that don't know I am there.

I did exactly the same, bought a new GSA Trophy and love it. I also like the new 1300 GSA however I don't want to become a BMW test driver of new technology so I'll wait a couple of years before I join the 1300 family.

I just test rode the 1300 GS trophy, and its funtastic bike. I like the 1300 GS more than the 1250. I also have 2021 RR, 2023 C400GT

I own a 2023 Super Adventure S and BTW, also owned a 2016 Super Duke R. Nice choices. My Pros/Cons are similar but simplified. Pros are same as you but the only two cons I have are Chain vs Shaft... I dislike maintaining the chain and would rather have a shaft drive. The only other con is the heat that rolls off the radiator/engine and onto my knee. It's bad and needs a solution. However, in winter this con becomes a pro HA! So go figure.

I have the same headlight on my 500. I had to re-pin as well. I like the look but really haven’t tried it at night.

Thanks for your video. I just got this seat for my 09 Fat Bob and it makes it sleek and sexy now. -The look I was always after! I find the comfort totally fine for longer rides, as it is firmer than my stock seat. The comfort for a passenger however would not be great with this seat.

Sweet bike. Im 200 lbs and actually softened the front end a little cuz it felt too rigid over bumps. Im at 13 clicks out and it’s pretty smooth. Haven’t messed with the rear shock yet but it does feel a little soft. No strips on the rear tire, just to give you a reference as to speed🤙 not sure I’ll ever scrub in the entire front tire on the street! Are you in the PNW?

Question for ya regarding the brembo master cylinder, I just grabbed a 15mm for my 690 and was wondering if your mechanic did anything to the banjo at the bar end to get it to work or did he just leave the stock line as it is? I currently own a 2022 BMW R1250 GS. The build quality, suspension, and seat are significantly worse than my 2016 GS. That's why I'm looking into the SAS for my next bike.

A slip on from Sawicki Speed or S&S Make it sound amazing and while the 100% has more ride modes, yours has Rain, Standard and Sport b 10:05 y default as stars options.. I've got a 2023 Sport with a Sawicki Speed exhaust and a PV3 Tuner to play with stuff, including removing the speed limiter and 150mph isn't an issue outside the wind. Lol. I regularly spank Monsters Super Dukes, Z900's and bullet bikes in straight line as well as canyons.
