This channel was started a few years ago, and was based on the restoration of my first car: My 1980 Datsun 280zx. Since then I have bought more cars, and I now have 8 classic cars that I restore and operate. This channel is based on the restoration of all of my vehicles, and it includes all kinds of automotive content, with a focus on classic cars, particular European (German mainly) and Japanese cars.

Why? 🤔
@h.r.1523 why what?
@@datsoon9236 Dodge?
@@h.r.1523 yeah they're junk
@@datsoon9236 😂 yes but if they get you from point A to point B? Oh nevermind, on 2nd thought, don't answer that 🤣
@@h.r.1523 it won't even do that 🤣
That's a beauty. Thank goodness BMW had enough sense to keep it a manual. 😅
@h.r.1523 yes! Most came in manual. It's a lot of fun. My friend ended up purchasing this car yesterday! Kinda jealous! Lol
@@datsoon9236 I figured they did. I was just glad to see they didn't go with the 2000s trend of making all the cars automatic. That's cool, but the true classics are even better 😂

@h.r.1523 yes mam'! This one is late 80's, but the older ones are wonderful

I just finished to this video
Interesting.
Can you do a video on how to program the cluster to the vin of the vehicle your transplanting it to?
Unfortunately, I don't personally have the software to do it. My friend did it for me using his computer and software. It is called PA Soft. It's very easy to use to be honest.
This is one of the funniest videos, I love it. Would like to see your other footage for this gem.
Hahaha thank you
Leave it to Datsoon to give us some OMD on a kid's toy. You got the beat down. Awesome!!!
Hahahaha thank ya
Whoa, how long ago?
Yeah! About 1 year ago
Doesn't sound good. That's got to be frustrating. 😩
Yeah, it certainly it. Started up immediately 10 minutes later
Did you guys get it fixed?
Unfortunately we did not. I replaced the speed sensor, but it was the wrong part. I Unfortunately sold tbe vehicle now though. I really miss it.
However, we did manage to use the JB Weld, and it worked to keep it together.
How do you go about finding a watch like that? I hope you find it one day. Love the mini Bosch tool kit.
It's a very hard watch to find. I've looked online but haven't managed to find one. Thank you! Yeah, I thought it was proper and German to go with the car well.
Beautiful area!
Isn't it!? The forests in Utah are gorgeous
Its so creepy..., i rhink my jat would have to wait until the following morning
No kidding, haha. I had to get my hat that I accidentally left in there. It was certainly spooky
after too many paranormal videos stuff like this gives me the heebie jeebies
Haha yeah, no kidding. Had to go in alone because I forgot my hat, as you can see. It was spooky
Im here before it gets a million veiws.
Hahaha I appreciate it 🤣
Dang dude you sure are living the dream! Unless you do all your auto work yourself😮
Hahaha I am! And I do all my auto work myself 😂 it's a pain. I myself own 6 classic cars, and it's a bit of a pain to maintain them all
Solid line up of cars man, really like that F350 and Porsche 👌🏻
I would agree! Yeah! They're awesome! I certainly didn't bring my coolest car. But I still do love the e39
Very homosexual
Very true Zach
You are great
Hello. Nice video. Did you needed to program the cluster? Did mileage remain the same ? Thank you for a great video
Hey thanks! I did have to program the cluster, but it wasn't hard at all. I did it with my friend using PA Soft. The mileage that was on the car that the cluster came out of is what it would be, but you can easily program the correct mileage in. There will be a damper dot by the mileage, but you can also code that out.
Thank you for quick reply. And thank you for helping all e39 fans
@@Mega2716 yeah absolutely! Thanks for watching!

Yeah, that is true. 3 speed auto, or 4 speed manual on the tree right? Did they have a 3 speed manual option?
We have one out here in NC, between Pittsboro & Sanford. You out in Murray?
That's awesome! Yeah, this place is in Murray, Utah
SL must be worth 350,000 dollars restored.
Yeah, it could very well be worth that much. It's insane.
So.. can you buy these? A lot of them seem to be fixable, otherwise a goldmine of parts
Some of the ones in the back are for sale from my understanding. Certainly would be amazing projects or parts cars
Great job keeping move ❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks? 😂
I spent many hours / days / weeks exploring such a Mercedes graveyard. It belonged to my mate - a Benz mechanic - and yielded up many parts for my collection of eight.
Wow! That's awesome! Lucky you lol
Where is this yard
@@petnation4970 the hard I went to is in Murray Utah
@@datsoon9236 The yard I referenced was in the hinterland hippy hills of Byron Bay / Shire, New South Wales, Australia. It’s now defunct and cleared - since close to two years ago - it is no more. But many spare parts *did* find new homes and second lives. There were dozens of each ’70s / ’80s / ’90s series, and a lot of MLs. My W180 (ponton), 108s, 111 (Heckflosse / fintail), 112 coupé, 116s (including a *very rare* Crayford Estate - a bespoke conversion with celebrity provenance - but a different story), 123, 124, 126s incl an SEC, 140, 201s … were drip-fed parts from that overgrown paddock of humidity- and rust-related rot in Paradise and kept running for years on relative rag fumes. One always made sure to be wearing serious boots, gaiters, gloves, and gauntlets when scavenging parts. It wasn’t unknown for surprises to appear in the form of large snakes keeping cosy in engine bays, boots (trunks), and even cabins. I did once concede primacy to a large, frightened, defensive, and territorial python in my attempt to detach a K-Jet fuel distributor. That job waited a week in the hope that Joe Blake would move on. Which it did. 🙂 Redback spiders were another hazard of exploring that yard - but we Aussies grew up with those, too - easy peasy.

Nice honest review!
Just a warning to your girlfriend. If he says that to a baby bear or other animals that can kill. Just know I'm here for you when that day happens 😅
Whoa whoa whoa buddy. That's my wife. Take it easy 😂
I luv these old classics! wash the glass bro it will def help ya see better nxt time, this is the year my dad bought a olds delta88; I was hoping for the one of these tho 🙄
my e39 bone stock and has the same camber as that on the rear
Are you sure it's bone stock? I own an e39, and it has a little hit of camber, but barely any. Entirely stock suspension. I've also never seen an e39 with this much camber, and I am in an e39 club where I've seen 50+
ok i had to check it again it's not that bad as in the video but there is slight camber i don't know if it's by default like that the car has 511k km or 300k miles and still runs great doubt any new car will make it that far.@@datsoon9236
My first Benz was a 71 108 280S with the Dual Zeniths. A great car and wonderful driving experience. If I had bottomless pockets I would buy another and restore it to factory new, or two or three for that matter...
That's wonderful!! My 72' 250 has dual Zenith's. I'm currently rebuilding them. I have the same goal with mine. Luckily, the interior is immaculate and it has 70,000 original miles. All it needs to be in perfect condition is the carbs finished, and a new paint job
i want a w108 i want a w108 holy FUCK I WANT A W108 insurance is quoting me at like 500 fucking dollars a month and fuel is nearly 8 dollars a gallon in canada AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Do you have videos of other songs on this Beach Boys concert?
I do! I'll be posting them soon.
@@datsoon9236 do you have Darlin’? If you do, can you post that one?
Thanks for the video. Wonder what was missing as the cup holder does not want to come out? Did you missed something to tell. Thank you!
Of course! Thanks for watching! There isn't anything else you need to do to pull it out. Just the two screws. Yours is probably so friction fit in there that you think there is something else that needs to be done, but there isn't. Keep wiggling it back and up and down while pulling outward. It will eventually come out. It's just stubborn. Good luck!
@@datsoon9236 Thank you! Nob, It moves but will not come out more than 10 mm.
@@karttu1 that's weird. Just keep trying at it. I bet you'll get it eventually..
