Great video! I’m building a sim racer and want to set up 3 27” 4K monitors. Can I run a 4080 card?
4K is going to be taxxing on even the nicest hardware, but yes 4X cards are the latest out there you can make it work, But with 4K most the time there are other settings that will need to scrifice at least a little bit typically. Im more of a 1440 fan so i can keep other settings maxxed out.

Nice vid man, but you forgot a key step. You can stack multiple iracing base paint design templates for unique look.

what is the measurement of your bezel
I was wondering how to make a small monitor, speedometer for ats/ets2/fs22. and the size of the small monitor (5/7/9 inc gb), resolution etc. I'm curious about your information.

Hi, I have quad setup for sims and 2 monitors on my desk for normal stuff/gaming. I have the three main sim monitors and my main gaming monitor on the desk connected to the gpu and the the ''support monitors'' for discord and stuff on the cpu/mainboard. If I select a higher refresh rate than 60fps on my main monitors the monitors that are connected to the cpu get disconnected. Is there a known setting that I have turned on or something?
Ive not seen/heard of this issue before, How are you using the 4 set up on the main GPU. Are you using them independently or are they spanned into one monitor using nvidia surround or program like that? I have 5 monitors total, 4 of them on them on the GPU, 3 Of which are spanned into a single monitor these are 165hz, my 4th on the GPU is an older monitor, i have it set up separate using extend desktop to this display it is 60hz, then the raspberry pi on the CPU graphics at 60hz using extend desktop to this display, no issues on any.
1080p is cpu limited, higher resolutions use the gpu

Don’t want to sound all nit picky, but iracing should be cheaper imo. I would want to get the NASCAR content, so spending around 500$ to get the base nascar stuff is pretty crazy.

I hope it rains before we get there, just to cut down on dust. But hope there's mud trails, just the same. We ride 4x4 utility atv's.
I see on one atv an extra gas can, have you ever had to use it.? Or are there options to get to town to top off.? Wondering if I should buy one for an upcoming trip to H&M trails.
Yes we routinely use them, But if you plan accordingly there are gas stops on the far extent of most trail heads, so if your going from one end to the other and back again you can typically get gas, But if your just going out exploring with no destination in mind, or never going close to a town, I would recommend gas. Its easy to do over 100+ miles in a day at HMT.
I wanted to get iracing when I first built my PC after researching that you have to buy the game buy a subscription buy the track and buy the car It wasn't for me sounds fun to play but a subscription is bad to play a game
Depends what your looking to get out of it, While i think their membership fee is priced OK for the market, and considering you get quarterly major updates to not only new content, but quality improvements to existing content, and quick updates to any issues and that they are the only thing like it in their online racing Niche at this level of content and competition. i cant complain, No one time payment game can compare with the level of updates, service, and content that Iracing offers, if they do it is also plagued by in game micro transactions. But i do agree tracks and cars get a bit expensive, These could be priced a bit lower for sure, But the thing to remember unless your out to own all content (Which i do) i can say its a waste of money for the average person. Most things i buy i dont race much either due to being underpopulated in servers, or the car is too complex above my skill level that i dont spend enough time to learn it so i dont race it. So if you stay with cars that you are actually are going to spend time in you can limit the cars you actually need to buy.

I'm definitely buying gaming monitors for my Xbox series s and my smart TV to play on the road, tsw2, bus simulator 21 and flight simulator as well. However, I'm a get a gaming chair and and a steering wheel stand too.

Hey man, quick question. Could you explain how you managed to keep the top deck of the rig from swaying left and right? Is it from proper cross bracing or did it just sturdy up after everything was bolted together? Great work man!
Thanks for watching, The uprights are actually 2 layers of 1x material thick. Inner layer is running vertical, the outer layer is running angled. Then they are completely joined together. Where the upright attach to the ourside of the rails along with cross bracing at the top above my legs (where you can see on the inside), as well as the top deck plate all worth together to prevent movement. its a rather sturdy rig. I now use a Fanatec wheel which kicks/vibrates harder and still don't have any issues. Everything is held together with standard construction screws.

It doesn't just show up for me and like the guy stated below the slider in the iracing paintshop 360 viewer will not let me slide the one that says "show custom paints"
I don't understand why they don't release this game as a standalone PC DVD game as was the Nascar racing 2003 season game game of its time. They would make more money from it and fans around the world would be able to play a game that would be a regular successor to the Nascar racing 2003 season game .
I did the same thing as you early on. I focused so much on safety rating, trying to get it to 4.0 for a fast track, I didn’t care about irating. Kinda wish I didn’t, but it wasn’t the worst thing in the world.

correct, you have to be an active member. it’s cheapest to buy yearly memberships, especially for new member as you usually get 50% off. then recurring members can get 30% discounts in the winter sales. but must be active member to use the content.
I cant find anyone that shows how to setup up the 4th monitor.... does the card have 4 display ports or use adapters or what...
you have 2 options. a video card that uses 4 ports, or if you only have 3, you can run your integrated onboard graphics for your 4th. I have a video on my page how to do this, look for how to use integrated graphics.
Just seeing this now as I'm doing research for my own. Really like the pedal angle adjustment method, gonna have to steal that for my rig

In general they are called "button boxes" if you are looking for some on the internet, there are alot of different brands. the ones I use are from "DerekSpeareDesigns.com" They are good quality and decently priced compared to competitive products. Thanks for watching.
Only took me 18 hours to DL the update and another hour and a half to download the Apache.
My internet is so slow that watching Your video buffers !!! I have a I7-4790K that does 5K ( hit the silicon lottery ) and many similar features as You. I bought a 4K television not knowing that my 6.8 MBps Frontier internet connection wont even support 1440K I bought a TP link TL-R470T Load balancing router and 2 years ago had 11 megs a second 2 years ago, but now I cant get it to work. My husband just purchased 3 QHP LG Ultragear monitors that are 32" 2560x1440 with 165hz refresh rate. He has an Omen HP gaming computer that he bought in 2020. We cannot find a DP mult-port adapter for the monitors that supports the 2560x1440. What happens if we try a multi-port HDMI adapter that is 1080P? From what I see on the display settings & NVIDIA control panel there may be options to choose the 1080P instead.
