Great video!! I’m going to get one.
Thanks Jack! Make sure you check out the discount link in description. 😎 and the 18g basket upgrade is amazing!
What about if your boiler does not work, nothing gets hot, at all!
It could be a simple triac replacement. Do you have a local machine tech?
what makes the limited edition one unique ? Aside from the artwork andit breing a limited edition?
It also comes with an A3 art print. 😅 But as for the machine, it is exactly the same.
@@mitchdoescoffee do you think it will be worth something? Resale value?
@tedalen529 I wouldn't think so... 3000 units I limited enough to be cool, but not limited enough to be worth a silly amount... unless the original artist turns out to be a descendant of Da Vinci 😅
For me, I use a 21g IMS basket with 18 grams in and 36 out. Wet Weber filter at the bottom, very very gentle tamp, weber filter on top and then screen puck. 30 sec.
pretty sure what you just cut out was there to prevent rain being sucked into the airbox as well as bugs and other bad stuff
A little extra cold air won't hurt 😎
Seems simple thanks for the video, is the grind closer to espresso or drip?
You're welcome. Definitely closer to espresso. 👍 Stay tuned as I have some detailed Mokapot content coming soon.
😳😳 damn gurl.
💍
Well done Mitch!! Truly one of a kind CUBE 😍🤩
Thanks guys. I'm so inlove... again. ❤️
here they place these to down grade from 70kw A licence to 35kw A2 licence.
Ah yes. These bikes are so restricted from factory.
I have owned mine since 1996 and still looks and works like new. I’ve replaced some gaskets over the years but that’s about it.
That's awesome. ❤️
Do these filters work for the Breville Touch as well? Thank you.
Only the lower 54mm screen. 🙏
THANK YOU! Finally someone who took a look inside one of these. I started my coffee-journey with a second-hand, broken Breville barista express. I knew it was broken before I bought it, but had hoped to be able to repair it. Once I had managed to get inside, I was shocked, how poorly everything was designed and how messy the layout was. The Problem turned out to be fried component on the motherboard which was beyond my capabilities. Long story short I learned not to buy broken machines on Ebay, and also to stay away from machines with integrated grinders, especially anything from Sage (Breville, Gastroback etc.). I get, why people like these. They are really well designed and look like quality products, but all of that is just a shiny exterior, with a really shitty interior. Progressing in my coffee-journey my father bought a Lelit MaraX (which I did not take apart :)) and I realized immediately how well it was put together and how little electronic parts it had. Having moved out I bought myself an old Saeco Aroma for 30 Euros and even that was way higher quality than the Breville one and quite easy to fully take apart. Like you said, the Breville machines are bad value for money, considering that our whole setup including the machine, grinder and accessories cost a lot less than the Oracle. To anyone who read this far: Thank you and please learn from my mistakes and stay away from anything with a lot of "smart" capabilities (e.g. automatic dosing, a touch screen, or other automated functions), or an integrated grinder and get a really "dumb", but quality Italian machine.
What's the weight of that coffee gizmo? Might be good for an overnight campout.
It's under 700g (even with the bigger 18g basket upgrade installed)
The dream come to life this is stunning 🎉🎉🎉
I couldn't/wouldn't have done it without your encouragement 🙏
Looks great. Should airbrush some grey lines through the white to give it that marble look like the wallet you flashed 😎
😎 oooooh. I like that
Gosh sounds are horrible
I agree. My microphone let me down in this video.
What a nice work 🎉
Thank you buddy 🙌
Hey, thanks for the video - unfortunately there’s a lot of useful information missing in majority of youtube videos or websites. They usually show the basic steps often missing critical details that can easily ruin shots which I found out after 5 months of experimenting. Nevertheless, thanks for the time and effort.
Thanks for the feedback. I have done MANY videos featuring LaPavoni content... as most people aren't interested in 2 hour long videos to find the answer to a specific question. Check out some of my newer videos that will probably answer a little more of your questions as I have also learned alot more over the years since making this video. 👍
Hey mate, where did you get that thermal sticker?
Hey buddy. I have a handful of them. Are you in Aus?
@@mitchdoescoffee yup
@@method341 awesome. Email me your details and I'll send one your way. mitchdoescoffee@gmail.com
@@mitchdoescoffee thanks, will do!
Nice video. The fairly comparison should be with the omnia !!
Even the omnia isn't anywhere near as advanced as this grinder. 😎
I’m about to purchase an omnia for home. The x one is to expensive for home use. But I would appreciate an advice for an espresso machine to update for about 6000-7000 euros ;-)
@joannismess 100% I would recommend the Sanremo YOU. It is by far the most advanced machine on the market & actually alot cheaper than some other machines. Plus it looks incredible! 😍
Hi Mitch. I received my sanremo you today. I am shocked about the build quality ( on the outside). Plastic and cheap materials all over !!! I don’t even care about the specs anymore. It came the same day with the omnia grinder witch is a piece of art !!
Do they make these for the 54mm? I can’t seem to find the stainless steel “inner” or “upper” anywhere.
Hello! The 54mm doesn't use the upper screen. There is a link in video description for the 54mm shower. 👍
thank you for the great videos on the Sanremo Cube! The knob for hot water tap become a bit loose and wiggly, any tips how to fix this?
Hi Hakeem. This will require you to remove the stainless steel top of the machine to access that section. It isn't too difficult, but if you have warranty on your machine, I would recommend reaching out to whoever you purchased it from before you do this. 👍
My Pro post 2000 has developed a leak in the 'water level' display, with water dripping out the bottom of the display. Do you have a tutorial for this kind of repair? Thanks!
I don't have a video, but it isn't too difficult. To repair it properly, you will require a full rebuild which I have done in one of my other videos. czcams.com/video/YIfu4Iqab-k/video.htmlsi=adNwcsrp630zahPe You will need to access the fittings inside the main boiler to stop the leak. Where are you located?
Raw steel machine with natural brass fittings. Don't tell Specht. I wanna see it!
😅 The difference is, I won't be able to charge $5000 to paint 3 panels & "install" a timber portafilter.
@@mitchdoescoffee shots fired. love it! Haha. have a sweet long weekend dude 🙏
@Ayebeeishs ahhahaha. Thanks legend. 😎
I still have nightmares about those beans. Sounds like milk was the ticket. I stand by my Blue cheese and Truffle comment 😂 Thanks for another video guys. Favourite line "Its litterally 50/50"
😅 I mean, it's simple math right?
I was there bro
Yes you were. Legend! 😎
So what is the best one ? What brand and what type of.. i am looking for the semi automatic like oracle thanks
"Best" is very subjective. My best = Whichever produces the best possible coffee. Others will argue that the EASIEST one to use is the best. I always recommend working out these steps. 1. How much do you want to SPEND? 2. How much EFFORT do you want to apply 3. How GOOD do you want the coffee to be. Once you know the answers to those, you can then narrow down your list. Because the Oracle is a very easy to use machine, but it is expensive & doesn't make a great coffee everytime in my opinion. Where as other proper espresso machine companies produce a product that makes a better coffee, but requires more effort.
Hi would it work for a coffee bar ? 2 hours 100 cups ?

Hi would it work for a coffee bar ? 2 hours 100 cups ?
No, I would recommend something with volumetrics & a little bit less "manual" . Something similar to the Ascaso Bar.
over 300USD for a unifilter. its a crazy amount of money for a sieve
😅 nailed it.
Not really necessary as you can feel the right pressure in the handle and repeat it accurately enough. There are more impactful pavoni mods out there
I strongly disagree with this. How do you know what is "right"? This mod has made by far the biggest difference to making espresso on my LaPavoni
Thanks fella
😎
@@mitchdoescoffee Comical as I just got replacement gasket and it was the cracked plastic
@@ManonFire777 ahhh. The plastic plate strikes!
Nice vid! Probably don't need the gloves, but I do love a bit of a fisting.
You're right about tamping. The Pav needs lots of heavy tamping to extract all the flavors.
A "heavy" tamp is only wrong when the coffee is ground too fine. 😎
18 grams??? I can repeatedly make great 9.5gram shots in my Pavoni.
???
What is the brand of Dosing Cup, please?
That is the Crema Pro or Rhino with the ring removed.
i use a puck screen, do you recommend?
With this style of extraction being so smooth & controllable, I haven't found it to do anything to help.
Is not easy to insert the piston and grouphead gasket while the group are dismantled?
There is a tool available... I have made an updated video more recently. czcams.com/video/YIfu4Iqab-k/video.htmlsi=QOguV-zlS9c3ynkx
