Because Jesus healed me, he can heal her too if she forgives. If she says “what was done was real harm, it is NOT okay, but accept Jesus and His healing power and let Him judge Robert Morris, she can heal. Minimising this egregious sin shows a lack of accountability and not the attitude of the repentant. This isn't an add-on to his testimony! This is vile and should be treated as such.

Joshua, this is deliberate sin! Jesus does not forgive such sin committed in His Name. Have you read Hebrews chapter 10? Salvation is for the repentant. Repentance is leaving ALL sin. The only sins that are forgiven are those repented of. 1 John chapter 1-3. You have been told a false gospel. Those who are in Christ reap eternal life. Those in Christ do not sin. If they stumble, they repent. They do not continue in sin. Those who continue in sin are judged and condemned. Hebrews chapter 10. Romans 8:13&14 "For if you live according to the sinful nature you will die, but if by the Spirit, you put to death the misdeeds of the body you will live because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God". There is no licence to sin. Jesus doesn't cover sin, He cleanses us of all sin, IF WE REPENT and trust in Him. I would leave your church; it is not teaching the true gospel.

Yes we all fall short. We are all sinners in desperate need of the mercy of God in Jesus Christ. But that does not negate the severity of certain sins over and against others. There are consequences for sin in accordance with their severity. This is a criminal abusive sin which is extremely serious. The video is correct he should have gone to jail. Even if she was of age, Sexual immorality is grounds for church discipline let alone disqualification from ministry. Now that does not take away from the fact that there is the possibility of forgiveness for the vilest of sinners. But what makes this so disturbing is the fact that it was done by a leader in the Christian church who professed conversion at 19, and the apparent lack of repentance for years and years.

This isn't really the worst example of this to me. I think the outrage and righteousness about Morris is a postive thing. I'm glad that this is finally getting the attention it deserves. But what about the victims of Donald Trump? He's now a convicted rapist but why are evangelical christians still supporting a rapist? One of the 20+ other alleged victims who've come forward to allege that Trump abused them is someone named Katie Johnson who said she was 13 years old in 1998 when she went to what she had been invited to as a NYE party . . . at the brownstone apartment in NYC belonging to one Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein threw this "event" for Trump to specifically traffic an underage girl to his buddy Trump. She was unfortunately the unwitting victim. But where is the outrage around this? Trump should also be condemned for his crime whether he is the anti-abortion candidate foisted on Republicans or not. He should be held accountable too.
