Interesting and Picturesque Train Layout at Legoland Windsor
The displays were absolutely stunning, the detail in the layout buildings were incredible. All the different countries had their own identity, truly unique.
The train layout had a EWS livery Class 37, Class 66, Amtrak, Eurostar, Large Logo Class 50, Steam Engine, London Underground & Docklands, Class 08 Shunter, Crane & Tamper Machine.

Amazing locomotives. its a shame BR built locos even new are scraped and we get American diesels to replace them. How sad.
Same with the Class 60’s unfortunately. Remember both getting built and now sadly going. The Class 37’s still going strong thou. Hopefully the 60’s will have some new lease of life if the refurbishment happens with Land Recovery
@arthurgrowler5749 Yeah, 90s 91s,60s, all still have a good life span. Terrible to see an of these rust away in sidings or industrial yards. Fingers crossed they will see a new lease of life.

Fantastic video, this was a really good gala. Shame about the 26 failing on the Sunday but everything else was top notch. Highlights for me were the brake van ride and being let into the cab 47449 for some photos at Llangollen
Had some good events lately to be fair. Locos looked spotless just a shame the weather was abit drab on Saturday.

Why is 303 there? What happened?,also was 60014 the one previously stored at Crewe IEMD?
56303 had a bump at Willesden, gather it will be used for spares ? Don’t think it will be used for the class 69 project due to the damaged caused ! 60014 travelled to Longport from Toton for assessment. Still there just the shell. Hopefully see some movement on this soon !!

Great footage of this fascinating yard, I went past there this morning and seems like 69012 has been moved up a bit, you can see it as you're going past towards Longport station

They should all be refurbished and then converted into diesel.

Great video there. So upon my calculations with these Class 56 to Class 69 conversions almost complete? As GBRF are having 14 Class 69's from the Class 56's? After that, would I be right to suspect that 60014 will be worked on next after these as the first of many planned repurposed Class 60's that will become a possible Class 71? Or would anyone know if the Classes 61-64 are available to be used? I for one will be keeping an eye on this progression of what will become of these Class 60's in the future.
