Pretty sure I've seen that place as part of a larger complex, but not standalone like that. I've been spoiled by fancy weapons, I'd forgotten how close ship battles can get when you're evenly matched. Great video.

It would be better if Bethesda had concentrated on building real points of interest more. Instead of just random abandoned bits. Like that storage facility. No admin shack, no landing pad, nothing. Just a bunch of people and a small garage doing nothing in the wilderness. There should be roads and such as well on many planets, leading off the map.

It’s so nice to see someone else who stands up from the pilot in the middle of a fight. 😂 I hate that the game made the ‘select enemy’ button the same as the ‘stand up’ button. I’ll never understand that logic. Also, I couldn’t tell if you were using thrusters. When a enemy is charging at me head on I use ‘space bar+D’ to thrust over to the side . I think it helps not get lit up so hard. If I don’t slide to the side I take a lot of shield damage from direct hits.

If you use the mod SKK Ship Management Tools it will let you place a small beacon marker on the ground where ever you are and your ship will take off and land on the marker beacon. So it doesn't matter how far away you are to your ship and how much you are carrying your ship is never far away. The mod does many other things as well as clear out bodies on ships that you take over.

The crew gets killed when their hull takes damage from your attack.

Emily if you use these weapons on your ship it will make your fights alot easier... 6 x Vanguard Obliterator Autoprojector, 4 x PB-175 Helion Beam and 4 x Firebolt 4000 Suppressor. The Firebolt is for taking ship engines out if you want to board.

I have encountered one site somewhat similar to this during October '23 but in which the garage had a 3 story interior ceiling which sheltered a short crane and other partially dismantled heavy construction equipment. I expected miners or construction crew but initially found no-one. Then a male settler walked up followed by a lady and adolescent child. Their story was that they were intending to be farmers, bought the construction site-unseen, unaware that there were no actual farm tools, and had to give up their "escape the big city dream" due to the fauna eating all their crops. They begged me for a ship ride back to civilization. I have not since seen the 3 story garage nor been requested to provide taxi ride, beyond postings on the Mission Boards.

Looks like you need the mod Improved Follower Behavior by Deebz96. It fixes all the things they do while also making them not get in the players way.

😢 all those cred tanks i ve been missing out on by avoiding the crimson fleet line of quests. the first 'verse i went through i sided with the UC killing all the crimson fleet, it felt gross. siding with the fleet, a bunch of murderers and robbers will probably feel wrong as well. so i ve just avoided it all together yeah, yeah, i know it's just a game 😏

@emilysgame Have you been to and seen the planet Tirna II in the Alpha Tirna system? It's a lava planet that looks like something out of star wars when anakin becomes darth vader.

if you pull up your scanner and point it at a POI and hit the scan button, it will tell you waht the POI is from a distance.

Thanks for this great tip. This would have driven me nuts if it happened to me, which it probably will do at some point, but at least I'll know how to fix it.

Hi Emily, I had no idea that there were google extensions for SC. I can see this being very useful later on, so thanks for showing us this app. I have got my game package now, and I did go for the Foundation Festival Cutter. Not actually played in the persistent universe yet, as I'm still waiting for my X56 which should arrive today, or tomorrow, but I did have a quick go in the arena, and have also made a new character. I'm not really sure at the moment where to start. I was think New Babbage, or Area 18.

I think it is with intention via a firefight an innocent bystander wind farm got in the way sadly it tilted over. lol 😂 Looks like no sudden damage was made to the Wind Farm.

When I want to bring out a heavy shooter I take Betty she destroys enemies she is good back up she will watch your back I love this game always having fun taking companions and they have some new companions with the mods Audrey the Starborn is a lot of fun to take to a gun fight love your Channel coverage of Sci Fi games Starfield is my favorite keep up the great content thumbs up.

I remember finding Betty when I was a newbie and bringing her along with me and I gave her one of those explosive guns and she was way more dangerous to me than 100 pirates, but she was bad ass.

I encountered this ship for the first time earlier this evening and as I have a mod giving me authorisation to pilot many ships I took the ship for my own.

Sadly, I can't justify Betty for a slot on my ship. I'll never use her missiles perk. I only use particle beams. And Andreja is the best pure fighting companion by far. Just give her an inflictor and watch the fur fly. Sorry Betty.
