I was 12 years old when I saw this episode and especially this scene on TV for the first time and I fell in love with JAG at once. Great show, great actors, and always a part of my youth! Thanks for that! Greetings from Germany😃

It would've been good to see Harm in an episode of Hawaii Five-0 in which he comes to Five-0 HQ for their help, and they all put their uniforms on after they heard of him coming to see them and to hear Danny Williams' comment about how he feels about lawyers in the United States Military, though Harm sometimes defends & sometimes prosecutes. That would've made JAG's ratings skyroclet.

I must admit I have only seen one or two episodes but to see the F14 wow what a great aircraft 😊

wow this brings back so many memories. Growing up i loved this show, i would watch it all the time with my family. I remember telling my dad that i thought of it as our family show because it was what we did together.
She should of been in More episodes. But Harm or Rabb was playing the field
Harm is a protagonist of the show you dumboo
typical movie/tv fashion, you are able to keep your hearing on a aircraft carrier while jets take off (and land) and still able to communicate with others without yelling and loss of hearing.. Great show, a lot better then the spin-offs!

Why is Harm not wearing his wings?
As it was in the story Harm lost his wings when he crashed an F-14 during a night landing and killed his RIO. At the end of the story he got those wings back; the first JAG lawyer ever to do so.

How did Pike not know that Harm was a former naval aviator?
Really interesting to hear the extended, more orchestrated theme song. It’s a shame they didn’t use more of that throughout the series.
Every female sailor’s worst nightmare. Someone stepping on that HIDEOUS cover. Yuck. That cover was a pain in the butt to hold, keep track of and clean.

that last scene, where Bud is saluting Harm with no covers on rankles this old sailor a bit, but it was a great show. Once it got on CBS :p

I was always waiting for the ultimate crossover event; Admiral Harm meets Lt Lily Magnum to solve a crime that takes them Norfolk to work with NCIS agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs. They could both coordinate with NYPD Commissioner Reagan (from a different timeline).

Harm's dad would've been an Admiral if he didn't become MIA in Vietnam and made it back home to his family.
If Harm's mother had got to meet Caitlin Pike in this episode, she would've asked her if she's dating Harm and is going to marry him.

The flashback sequence in the 2-hour pilot episode of JAG must take place in 1969, the year when Harm's father got captured and was missing in action in Vietnam for many years.

It would've been interesting to see Kate Pike's parents visit her in the U.S. Navy and she introduces them to Harmon Rabb, Jr., whether they would've asked him if he's dating Kate or not.
