    If only more people had known this about Chinese Grammar without being overwhelmed by the rest

    Only the symbols fail to be consistent or follow basic entomological rules compared to Cantonese or English

    Oh.. i would find it worse, as it makes recognizing questions vs statements harder. 🤔 but im a weirdo, i actualy loved doing all the tables for nouns and verbs forms in Latin classes for example. But i hate learning new writing systems, really hard for my dyslexia.

    Chinese is easy - just need to put the time into listening and getting used to the order of the words. And there aren’t many or any (probably less than a handful if any) exceptions to rules - possibly because it was formulated by the government over the first few decades of the 20th century - based on the Beijing dialect, to be just that - easy - so everyone could learn it in the country and subsequently help the economy

    since when does 想 mean think? Isn't it want

    • @RaidersDnB
      @RaidersDnB Před 5 hodinami

      Examples : 梦想 Dreams or 想一想 think The character on its own can mean think or it can mean would like 想要certainly makes it want or would like 要is to want or will do something Single characters in ancient script had more vague meanings by today’s standards-that have since been solidified by the modern written language evolving into mainly double characters which have more specific meanings. 想 also means “desire” : that’s a thought and a want - so has most likely branched from the concept of desire

    If you could do puzzle then you could learn chinese characters well too If you break it down, it is basically just those few strokes combinations

    People are always amazed when I tell them I'm learning Mandarin because of the characters and tones. I always tell them that it's incredibly consistent and logical, the grammar is far easier then that of many of the languages we get introduced to in the UK as kids. It definitely has its own difficulties, but so does any other language.

    • @dieglhix
      @dieglhix Před 3 hodinami

      It might be easier but our neurons are cemented in different manner. I say this as a Spanish speaker, even English is culturally very similar. But Chinese, even it's objectivelly simpler in terms of grammar, requires new neuron wiring which will take several years. And I am willing to take it!

    Learning the sound of the words is one thing; learning the characters is a vastly different other. Chinese would be much easier to learn if it had an alphabet. Yes, I know about pinyin, but as far as I can see, that's not actually used anywhere.

    昨可以單獨使用吧,中文只有某些複詞不能單獨使用,因為這些複詞只有一個意義成分,像是葡萄。而昨天並不是這種複詞,所以都可以單獨使用。比方說,昨是今非,昨就是過去的意思。 部首通常代表形聲字中表意的形符,像是水部的字,大部分的意思都跟水有關。 有些形聲字的讀音跟聲符差很多,比方說海,一般都是發音發生特殊的變化,不過在古時候的韻書,或是現在的方言,海跟每念起來很像。 虾是簡體字,應該是蝦,叚是聲符,後來中國簡化成下。

    The United States is doing everything possible to plunge the Eurasian continent into a full blown war to engulf the continent. It’s obvious. They want to destroy Eurasia and exploit it when it is in ruins. Don’t fall for their trap. Trying to ban Tick Tock. The United States is an empire of lies and trickery. It’s all about the money laundering and has nothing to do with the people. What a tragedy this culture has become.
