If only more people had known this about Chinese Grammar without being overwhelmed by the rest
Only the symbols fail to be consistent or follow basic entomological rules compared to Cantonese or English
Yes, you are right. I am Philippe :D
Once you get past the thousands upon thousands of characters. And the different tones. I'm only a little bit of a masochist, I'll stick to Japanese, thank you.
Oh.. i would find it worse, as it makes recognizing questions vs statements harder. 🤔 but im a weirdo, i actualy loved doing all the tables for nouns and verbs forms in Latin classes for example. But i hate learning new writing systems, really hard for my dyslexia.
had I been at home without stress I would excel at Chinese or or German Russian -if I took them
Kazakh language also has consistency and maybe other language too
Same with my language Hungarian which is distantly related to Kazakh
My favourite's Jackie Chan's movie is Wo shi shei - Who am I 😂
Chinese is easy - just need to put the time into listening and getting used to the order of the words. And there aren’t many or any (probably less than a handful if any) exceptions to rules - possibly because it was formulated by the government over the first few decades of the 20th century - based on the Beijing dialect, to be just that - easy - so everyone could learn it in the country and subsequently help the economy
since when does 想 mean think? Isn't it want
Examples : 梦想 Dreams or 想一想 think The character on its own can mean think or it can mean would like 想要certainly makes it want or would like 要is to want or will do something Single characters in ancient script had more vague meanings by today’s standards-that have since been solidified by the modern written language evolving into mainly double characters which have more specific meanings. 想 also means “desire” : that’s a thought and a want - so has most likely branched from the concept of desire
If you could do puzzle then you could learn chinese characters well too If you break it down, it is basically just those few strokes combinations
Still needs a lot of raw brute memorization. Which is still good for the brain and cognitive excercizing.
People are always amazed when I tell them I'm learning Mandarin because of the characters and tones. I always tell them that it's incredibly consistent and logical, the grammar is far easier then that of many of the languages we get introduced to in the UK as kids. It definitely has its own difficulties, but so does any other language.
It might be easier but our neurons are cemented in different manner. I say this as a Spanish speaker, even English is culturally very similar. But Chinese, even it's objectivelly simpler in terms of grammar, requires new neuron wiring which will take several years. And I am willing to take it!
I can't even tell long and short vowels in English, of course I will be impressed. 🤔
Love your channel
Learning the sound of the words is one thing; learning the characters is a vastly different other. Chinese would be much easier to learn if it had an alphabet. Yes, I know about pinyin, but as far as I can see, that's not actually used anywhere.
Welcome to crazy town.
Bamboo? It's not eyes emoji on top of your characters? 笑簡第算👀
More useful that I was expecting.
That is the perfect explanation of grammar. You don't really learn it, you just get used to it
It from 竹简, so the 竹字头。
You are a great educator!
They talk like cavemen
jijiăn li?
The 淇淋 is probably how Cream is written in Cantonese since it sounds much more close to the English in 广东话
Sorry, but this is unfortunately to fast. Nearly impossible to follow.

All languages are the same.. translating word for word doesn’t work.
I actually understood the coffee pnr😂😂🎉
another one is 歇斯底里 which is hysteria
Literally making up translation.
He sounds like if gru pinched his nose lol (i speak chinese)
wow that they actually made it to challenge to US with this language is kinda astounding... but then again, they had to steal everything to get that far... sounds like an undeveloped third world bush language...
for those looking for complex vocabulary there is a song called 生僻字 that might help

They way you speak is so intense, regardless in English or in Chinese. I thought you try to annunciate your Chinese pronunciation. Apparently, this is just how you speak.
Благодаря 👍
Cuz dif languages switch verbs nouns and stuff around dif orders. It’s all real similar if u find the logic lol
The United States is doing everything possible to plunge the Eurasian continent into a full blown war to engulf the continent. It’s obvious. They want to destroy Eurasia and exploit it when it is in ruins. Don’t fall for their trap. Trying to ban Tick Tock. The United States is an empire of lies and trickery. It’s all about the money laundering and has nothing to do with the people. What a tragedy this culture has become.
Why is it double 大?
Double 大 makes it more 大. To emphasise the 大
double word is a cuter way to use the adjective
Like “really really” or “very very” but their double words usually double the adjective instead of the adverb
love this guy
I thought golf was colorful
Just absolutely loving the literal explanations of the character combinations...it is such a profoundly elegant language.
I got them wrong 😂
Another one is 坦克 (tank)
