First mistake was not removing the magazine before handing the gun to another person for inspection. 2nd. He chambered a round when releasing the slide. 3rd. If the gun had had an External Safety and he had had proper training at the range he would have put the SAFETY ON before holstering his weapon.

Should have used Travis Haley instead. His methods have detailed reasons behind every single move that makes practical sense based on years of real world experience.

Would it really be that bad for John to choose to die alongside his daughter? I mean, there are nobody else around. What would be the point of being the only two people alive and left in the world, especially since John lost his wife and his daughter is going to grow up learning what happened to her mom and possibly see her own dad die. Meaning, she'll be the only person left on earth. Both of her parents gone, her friends, everyone just gone! The only thing this reminds me of is 9, but at least that had somewhat of a happier outcome because 9 still had others to be around.

being around 12 & watching Markiplier play this, hearing him cry talking about his hypothetical daughter when he got the best possible ending was haunting & sadly beautiful to me. it sucks that this game doesn't get talked about much... it's very affective especially with the whole covid pandemic situation that was going on

On my first playthrough, I thought I did everything right by working at every opportunity given. Yet, my character passed, and I was confused. Turns out I had missed talking to the wife in the bathtub and being told the phone's been ringing. That one detail alone can make you fail the game.

I have nothing against Lucas and T.rex arms (and I do like some of his stuff) but when it really comes down to it I prefer Travis Haley cause he has both more experience and can connect better with people with garand thumb being a close second

ohhhh this is a blast to the past. i played this when i was a kid and it stuck with me but i never really.. understood the game. i must have been 10 at most? what stuck with me the most was their skin becoming more sickly as time went past. thank you for the recap :)
