In some ways it's good to have an emergency you can walk away from during training as it teaches you to think about all things at an early stage in your flying career be it for personal or professional flying. I know when I was working on my commercial license I was up with my instructor and we had a very gusty approach. I nearly had the Cessna 152 set down and a gust of wind just picked us right back up and put us in a stall almost at touch down altitude. Being we hadn't and no one ever does it on purpose stalled the aircraft at touchdown I was confused. Thankfully my instructor realized fast what was happening and took fast control of the aircraft but even he had a hard time getting it to work out we ended up touching down in the grass to the right side of the runway. Took me about a week to get my nerves settled enough to get back in the cockpit and finish up my training but I tell you that one incident was good training in and of itself as it just makes you think more about what could and can happen at any stage in the flight from the time you taxi out to the time you taxi back in. Had one lady at an airport I worked at taxi out at night and she missed the taxi way and ended up in the grass. Anything can happen at any time and always good to remember this when flying or even driving a car. Always be vigilant!

"... with the engine like that." Something was off with the engine? not clear. But, I do not like the way he immediately turned left to go back to the airport. Doesn't turning with no engine, no velocity, cause a stall? Doesn't feel right to me although it worked here. Have seen so many stalls caused by turning with no power. ???

I'm often fishing by rivers and hear these light planes doing the stall skill test, watching and listening to this there was definitely a change in engine sound! They do glide very well without engine power but at full throttle and the engine bogs. Carburetor issue? Nice slip land.

As i understand the engine ran rough and lost three hundred rpm amazing recovery ?? just my opinion.

For someone who confident he's never said, thank you Jesus goes to show we all know who to call on in times of trouble!

the impossible turn is called that because other than in a Cessna and very few other models IT IS AN IMPOSSIBLE TURN. Its luck that any general aviation flight is complete.

Are you able to remain perfectly comfortable while in those traffic patterns on approach to landing, or is there a bit of nervousness going on? It seems that everything moves at light speed! Awesome videos! Btw, when diving and driving a Trident submarine there was always a bit of nervousness no matter how often you performed the task!

Huh? Confused? Flying? When did you start RVING? Did you stop flying?

It's not the ultimate anything. This unit uses cheap, high frequency, output transformerless inverter tech that offers a lower surge capacity, a shorter life expectancy and no galvanic isolation for safety. A much better choice is to use an inverter that uses higher performance, longer lasting, safer low frequency transformer based inverter.

Tell me it isn't true...🥴 We got a Goal Zero power *Swystem* for our Airstream. Returned it, it's really just a battery that's charged by solar panels. Same as the AS when we switched to the onboard Battleborn lithium batteries which we can charge with 360 amps of Zamp portable panels when not on shore power.

Baron Pilot is a corporate captain busy flying jets making the $$$ now. and every now and then he likes to show other things besides just flying. Very Interesting 😎.

Flying is a serious affair. It must be taken with caution and awareness. Training helps you accomplish that along with a competent flight instructor.

Same result with my girlfriend, she's small frame size too. Even 2 hrs at anything over 8.5k and she gets headaches and nausea without supplemental O2. Dr. told her that early onset of altitude sickness was more common in woman, she thought it was a combination of lung capacity and metabolism factures. A small cup mask, on demand system works better for her, rather than the free flow nose buds. Plus it uses less O2 and extends the use time for longer flights.
