I've definitely had to relearn what's worth keeping. I also grew up on the poorer side...maybe lower middle class? But we were on government aid for a decent portion of my childhood so I want to hang on to things that I don't need to. Eventually my mom remarried and my parents are officially upper class (I finally had to admit that after my step dad threw out his bag of bags.mm ihid mine in my car 😂). But still. Old habits die hard. I moved in with them a few months ago after getting out of a bad relationship and it's hard because I'm not upper class, but they are. So I want to hang on to things because I know when I move out again, I'll be in a worse position... But they don't see it that way in their own home. "Why don't you get rid of some mugs?" Because I don't intend on living here the rest of my life and and I can't afford to buy new ones!

I find for how I take notes, when watching example videos with a lot of expensive tools, it's good to look at what they're doing with the tools rather than what they're using. ( How they're organizing and stuff.) Especially if you have ADHD and lack the chemicals to naturally organize info in your head(meds don't cure this, they just help). Instead of a black pen, if yours keep running out of ink/dying quickly, a normal pencil can work. For midliners, what's advised here as well as any pastel highlighter on sale. For cuteness etc; both the >symbols and the > organization styles in tutorial vids can help- and a further kick in imagery I've found can be glancing over some bits on a book about sketchnotes. That can help and or inspire me to doodle up a visual note to place beside written notes, to assist memory later on! This vid is so so good, I'd never have thought of some of these! The pencil crayon was ingenious.

Watched this vid 3 years ago when i had very very less collection now going on a no buy lol but surprising thing is that i gave way things that i didn't like but had it coz it looked good or i just wanted to own it i gave it aways to my dad 45% and 20% to my sister that cleared most most of my stationary fr and to use up remaining i have a aim that i gonna finish stationery i already have so that i can get new ones in extreme case i bought pens for example i bought use and throw pens for last year exam coz its necessary and completed all my use and throw ones all in all this no buy gives you a description of what we need Thank you very much seo for this no buy really helped aloooot❤

the portuguese urge to defend saramago even though i understand that his writing style can be a deterrent to enjoy his writing 😔😔 i read the year of the death of ricardo reis when i was in highschool and it was a struggle until telenovela type shenanigans started happening and then i rlly got into it. it's 400 hundred pages of ricardo reis getting berated for having the personality of a napkin. a thing that I've noticed though, is that in some english versions the translator attempts to tone down his style a bit to be easier to read. anyways! book taste is subjective and that's what makes literature fun! hope you have a wonderful week, i'm super happy i found your channel again. haven't seen you since your muji review days. it's so fun revisiting ppl that you grow up with parallelly.

As a native Portuguese speaker, José Saramago is a hard read even for us! He writes long run on sentences all the time. I have ADHD and already have to re-read anything I read to make sure I got it, and his books require even more re-reading for me, lol!
