I v already did like 50 times attempts to power jibe and always failed. 😮 Now I just gave up, and do a German Jibe, it works always 😂 I think each letter should be Capital: German Jibe!

no back footstrap?

Comparing it to the F4, it could be worth mentioning that the latest 2024 F4 foil for racing is completely different from the one I guess you and Mario have had. I think also F4 has a decent price on their latest high end 95cm mast.

Why you don't use the back straps?

Z-Fins have actually much less lift than Deboichet, but if i go fast trip in Formula board i use a JP56 fin. Much better control and if pushing too much it just stalled (spin out)but not crashed.

Seems like wind foiling's latest is way behind wing foiling's latest. Foil looks like really old tech.

i agree seen the price of a Patrik Formula Board i am pleased he is still making them and hell i wanna buy one.. but FFS it is so damn expensive.. i would have to sell 3 of my garbage boards.. that would pay off some of that Debt on Mr Credit

Please stop talking about uber expensive prices that you think are "normal". Windsurfing has gone from a user friendly sport to a high end high tech pass time for rich kids where the few companies still in existene do market studies not to know how little they can sell their goods to satisfy a large market, but to "niche" companies that develop high end goods and alculate the highest price they can charge without actually losing the market. It's all fake costs. The current boards may have better shapes, but they aren't strong - Almost Nobody actually gives you the weight of their boards anymore. Everything is sold separately and itemised . You no longer buy a good board, but a board, a fin, a foil, a mast, a mast foot, straps, harness lines and sails all separately. Come on guys; you know the suggested retail prices and the actual cost for your shops - Margins - and you also know that the producer has a very healthy margin too. We are all being squeezed for as much as we an afford according to the segment of the market we are in. As a youngster we used to be able to do several fun sports at a time, nowadays youngsters (unless they have rich parents) have to choose one discipline and focus only on that otherwise it's too expensive. What is sad is that whenever someone mentions someone else's name (patrick here for example) you all feel it is necessary to explain that you are NOT sponsored or getting paid to give our impressions ......... We used to just talk about stuff and give each other good advice without always thinking of "monetizing" it and 'complaining' that we weren't sponsored to say good things. It's as if you all think that anyone saying anything good about a product is obviously paid to do so.... It's another view on the world of windsurfing which is not how it all started out in it's time. Pity.

With the Patrik foil you can get 90% of the performance at 60% of the price by choosing the Alu fuse, M wings etc.

Yet another race/slalom windfoil vid. Does anyone have noticed that Vieste freestyle event is showing a much more fun way of foiling. Race/Slalom foil is definitly not fun, it's dead serious stuff. Come one, 3500€ to get 'decent gear'. Noway this is some usual rider game. Ok, I quit and go carve my local pond.

I love how he is trying to find a way to justify the price 😄. It’s ridiculously expensive. I had a small front wing in UHM carbon sent to me with an invoice from cobra for 80 euros/not a Patrik foil, but still. the mark up on this foils are crazy.

You are sailing with your back insteads of your legs. Use a waistharness on your hip with two strings between legs. Lines go straight out anyway. Hipharness. 10% more efficeint rig and board feels wider. Sorry I didnt tell you before, but well.. dont be a sheep and follow everybody else. Good luck.
