I just got one from my dad and it was on the list, taurus wants to replace it with a g2c. I laughed.

So I have the PT 24/7 pro .40 cal. How does this affect me?

Why am I just hearing about this in December of 2023. Good thing I never fire this pistol and keep it locked in my gun safe. I have a G3C that I carry and shoot regularly. I feel Taurus should have sent me a recall notice.

I have a 40 S&W 24/7 Pro, and since Taurus tells me they do not sell parts for this due to this class action suit, where do I get any spare parts for it? I'm just looking to buy a few spare parts including The Recoil assembly such as the spring and guide rod in case I ever have catastrophic failures in the future. Would The Recoil spring for the 40 S&W 24/7 G2 work with mine?

Half of a Taurus’ issues are assholes who try to shoot +p on non rated guns or else moronically try to use moon clips to shoot .45 auto out of a .45 long colt model.

I've had no issues with my PT 609 PRO, I've fired several hundred rounds with no malfunctions except a couple stove pipe, but even a glock or other mid grade pistol are not perfect.

I have a PT24/7 and a 24/7OSS and I never used them I wonder if it is too risky to use them

Idiot....i use my 223 556 for sport, plinking, hogs, coyotes, etc. Think, all the 223 556 guns out there and pistols, and though tragic, anyone gets shot, do the percentage of owners, and people getting shot with one.millions of ARs and the percentage of getting shot, is about like being struck by lightning 3 times in a day. The position of the safety on Mossbergs already make it the preferred shotgun for lefties. I really don't care about the the ejection port. I just need to be able to quickly get to the safety off.

my pt145 i bought here in the Philippines in late 2002,( sn nvh 5***3 ), does not have the word PRO on its slide, just millenium & pt145 on either side of the slide, is this model/generation included in the safety issues program ? i haven't fired it much( less than 50 rounds of our local standard load armscor 230 gr fmj ) and so far so good. I just want to make sure so i asked you, because the Taurus store guys here are reluctant ( & sometimes arrogant ! ) to entertain questions regarding the safety issues or gun related problems about their products ! i'm respectfully looking forward to your reply, thank you.

These no safety children must have complianed because they didn't want to admit that they didn't use the safety and shot yhemselves or someone else ! I have heard youtubers saying you don't have to use the safety on these guns ! Don't be stupid ! Use this pistol like you would use a 1911 ! Always use the safety ! It has a long light pull to a light break around 4 to 5 lbs ! Don't be stupid ! Use the safety ! These glock children don't seem to be able to get that through their heads !!

I have a friend who a Millennium PT111 G1 that found out about the problems with this model and she's about 11yrs but only fired once, so is there anything she can do to trade or get help with her gun?

Taurus is fucking GARBAGE....period.......they are KNOWN for Lawsuits and Unreliability, that's LITERALLY the first thing owners have to defend against, because it's True.

The 590a1 only comes in one configuration I don’t want to pay for ghost ring sights I don’t want .. and they Mossberg won’t do custom orders no matter how long I am willing to wait or no matter the amount I am willing to pay.. I’m to the point of just never doing business with the Mossberg company... and for anyone who says well it’s not bad to just shoot it right handed if that’s the case let’s just make all guns lefty and right handed ppl can adapt.

My G2 9mm went off and went threw my knee , l didn't have my hand on trigger...any information on any defects on that gun

I have a taurus gt 809 for years no problems out of it at all

I have a G2C and so far the safety is working fine. That being said, I'm not worried about either the trigger safety or slide safety not working because I don't keep a round in the chamber since it serves as just my nightstand gun and I have interior bedroom locks and a loud dog. So plenty of time to rack the slide. That being said, I haven't heard of anyone having problems with the safety on their G2C pistols. Most dealers seem to have much fewer returns on these pistols then on other much more expensive brands. Mine works great after several hundreds rounds through it. Plus it's so far eaten every type of ammo I've fed it including cheap jagged-edged hollow-points. So I'm quite happy with mine.
