Good questions! Over 70% of CRF250 buyers are financing with a dealership lender or their own bank. Protection products = GAP, VSC, Theft, GPS, and maintenance. Itâs only a disaster for the dealer that doesnât have an F&I manager.

What is the vehicle was sold not at MSRP but way below?
That is bad news at 8 hours cleaning and having to remove the jug. I raced my 89â and did a top end event 6 months and the big had full throttle and never had a power valve issue. Of course it did have a bit more power but I thought it was the new piston and rings and not so much the power valve. So that being said I ran about 60 hours in between pistons so it did run very well. I think Honda just wants to sell parts honestly. Iâm gonna clean mine and polish it so nice that it will take a while to stick. Iâll make that surface as smooth as a babies butt
Number 3 is so important. I was in sales in a different industry. First story. We had a booth just outside the main entrance. The owner of the company I represented saw a man dressed like a bum come in. He told me to get rid of him. I offered to show him our product and answer any questions. After about 10 minutes, he nodded to a well dressed man standing by the corner away from us. He came over and was told to purchase one of the largest single sales of our product. The second story happened at my office/warehouse. A rather strange (autistic) young man came in. He was singularly focused on one thing. We worked with his design and helped him solve his problem. He had been asked to leave our competitors business. In the end, he became a huge volume customer. We even gave him a plaque when he passed his first million. Heâd leave his wallet, checkbook, computer at our office. We knew heâd be back. It was just his distraction. He was a superb customer for over 20 years. Personal story. After my divorce I bought a very cheap old honda $200 at a garage sale. I saved up and finally had enough to buy a new sportster. I rode to the Harley dealership. Not a single salesmen would come over. Of the three, two were bullshitting with friends and one was looking at his screen. I sat on the sportsters, waited for 1/2 hour and finally left and went next door to a metric dealer. I was greeted and bought my first metric cruiser. I really enjoyed that bike. I ended up buying my adventure touring from him later. When I bought my Harley touring bike 5 years later, I did not buy it from that original dealership even though it was just down the road from my office. It had the same salespeople, but I felt it was the management. We were in a rich area and they catered to only the well off customer. I wanted a dealership that was happy to have my business and found one an hour and a half away. It was worth the trip every time.

Besides texting with my cell number and iPhone, I also use Simple Texting to send and receive hundreds of messages every day. My call center uses a larger service (Twilio) for messages in the thousands.
100% fraud! 100% fake phone call! Embarrassing sir absolutely Embarrassing you would say this is a live non scriped call. Shame on you. Matters not if the customer agreed to re rehearse.
I thought that call was pretty rough for being scripted. An ugly office, with poor lighting, and I won't even mention the sound quality. I remember that call 8 years ago and there was no script, but there probably should've been.
Itâs not the greatest âif I could, would youâ thatâs really used for determining commitment from the customer. I find that if youâre going to use the discount line, youâre essentially de-valuing the brand and also erodes the customer experience and makes you look desperate for the sale (even though you might be).
He didnât tell us how to overcome the customer saying I gotta think about it or not right now or I still have to do shopping or I have to talk to my wife. This guy in the video tells us to tell the customer which payment option would you like. What a joke.l!

You don't need all of the coolest clothing. You don't need to look cool. Read learn study. Clothing is a start on spending all of your money etc. Another thing is, you don't need to listen to the crappie music that's produced. Replace all of that with books. ALL of it can be replaced with books.
This country does nothing but sell for money and I don't buy any unnecessary products anymore nor should you. What you should be doing as a young person is not get taken advantage of by marketing but reading and learning.

And they are expensive but it doesn't mean that people won't buy things that are too expensive. $6.00 coffees at Starbucks are way too expensive but we still buy them. $5.00 per/gallon of gas (too expensive but we still buy it). $1K cell phones (too expensive but we get them too). If someone is looking at a Harley, then obviously they want one but maybe they just need it to fit into their budget... ie. monthly payment. If they don't buy the motorcycle because they can't fit it in their budget, they never saw the value in owning one and probably shouldn't own one. If someone sees the value in owning one, they'll find a way to get the money or make the payment.
yup, harley buyers know exactly what they're getting into - the de facto surcharge won't stop them and the market these days is weird re: pricing in general, even used

Can I be a good sales person if I have a long beard and tattoos from hand to neck? Should I clean up my beard or keep my natural biker look?
Assuming that your tattoos aren't offensive, you dress well, learn the product, and take care of your customers, your long beard and tattoos won't hold you back. Since the average Powersports salesperson averages 18 sales per month, you'll be judged on your sales and income rather than your looks. I know a handful of salespeople that look similar to yourself and have 6 figure incomes selling motorcycles but I see hundreds that look the same way and only make it to 5 figures. It's all in the skills you develop and where you want to be. Personally, I'd keep my natural look if I were you.

Really appreciate you posting information like this on youtube for new sales associates like myself. I knew nothing about sales before watching these videos (besides taking business classes in highschool). Really want to become great at sales, the feeling of buying a motorcycle or car for the first time is inspiring and I wanna spread that feeling to every costumer who walks in the door.
If you always keep in mind that feeling a buyer is experiencing or wanting to experience then youâll never lack sales.
Do you need a Bank Book in order to do all this? I am a new motorcycle sales man, with some experience in sales I start on March 2nd is there any videos I should watch first before others? I've been going down the lists, taking notes, really need to do well not only for myself but for my family, so I am extremely dedicated.
Your dealership should have an F&I person that maintains a bank book along with your sales manager that does the same thing. Your #1 thing should be following the sales process all the way until the end. You should have proficient managers that handle the rest and guide you along. Good luck!
