Keep fighting! I've got this thing too. For me there're still lots of things to do, need to get normal level of ferrum, need to get normal level of vitamin D. Right now I'm on 4mg methylprednisolone, can't believe I was on 48! Everything is going under your control, under control of doctors. This diagnosis is rare, very rare, but it is known enough by science for us to be alive, to get necessary meds, to lower illness's activity close to zero. This happens to everyone, many people have something with their health to do. But we're humans, we care. Through centuries we learned to cure those who are sick. So keep fighting!

I was married to a wonderful woman for a few years, and she was diagnosed with Wegner's back in the 90's! They didn't know much about it then and it attacked her lungs first. They did surgery then and gave her 6 months to live. I met her in 2012! We got married the following year, and she unfortunately passed over 6 years ago! Thanks for sharing!

I REALLY APPRICATE YOUR OPPENESS WITH GPA. I AM 81 AND HAVE HAD IT FOR 5 YEARS. YOU HAVE HELPED ME UNDERSTAND THE "REMISSION" I AM IN. I JUST KEEP TELLING MYSELF I AM GETTING OLD, WHICH I AM SURE IS PART OF MINE. BUT THE FACT THAT EVERY DAY, OR PART OF THE DAY CAN CHANGE IN A MINUTE IS SO TRUE. THE LACK OF ENERGY AND THE CONSTANCE PAIN JUST WEARS ON A PERSON. I WAS ABOUT TO GO TO ANOTHER DR. I have wegners as well since 2008. It went into remission for 13 years but came back in Dec 2022 attacking my sinuses. It was deteriorating my septum. So I've been on prednisone since Dec and I'm about 2 months into methotrexate but I'm about to start fasting 3 days at a time every 2 weeks to start to reset my immune system. I use hypnosis at night for healing and I meditate regularly envisioning myself already healed. I also sleep on a grounding sheet to keep my inflammation down. It's a lot but all together it helps a lot. I wish you well on your journey!

Thank you for this video. I was diagnosed in the ICU at the beginning of 2022. Very similar experience, though mine dragged on for a year prior to my diagnosis, which occurred only after my kidneys and lungs failed. I appreciate the time you took to share this.

I also have this disease, similar story but mine attacked my sinuses and lungs. Diagnosed in August of 2021, but symptoms started in April of 2021. Still trying to get in remission. I do not wish this upon anyone.

New to your channel. I was diagnosed with it two months ago after I entered the ER after my primary got my blood work back and had no kidney function. My creatinine level was close to 18. I finished Rutuxin three weeks ago, did plasma fusion, and have been on prednisone since. Unfortunately it did a number on my kidneys. I’m currently doing dialysis 3X a week. I’m 49 years old and was hoping to regain independent kidney function back. However, my doctor doesn’t think it’s likely. Trying to stay positive, but it’s getting harder by the day.
