This 'Channel' is, mostly, about documenting Trains. No music, No narration, just the sight and sound of trains. Locations are around the Greater Vancouver, Fraser Valley & Fraser Canyon and the Southern Interior of British Columbia, Canada.
I record trains in UHD video and stereo sound. I am neither a Foamer nor hardly even a real Railfan, (and there is nothing wrong with being either!). I can't identify trains on sight. But as a retired investigator, researcher & analyst, I know how & where to look.
Equipment used includes a Canon XA55 4K UHD in 1920x1080 with an external Azden SMX-10 microphone housed in a Rode Blimp, and a Neewer 7" field monitor. A Canon XA10 with external mic, a Canon SX60HS with external mic, a Sony HDR-AZ1, a Sony HDR-CX110HD, a Nikon AW110HD, and a Viofo A119HD have also been used. I have been known to use an Apple iPhone 11+ on a Zhyiun Smooth 4 powered gimbal. Video is edited and produced using Cyberlink PowerDirector. I try to use a tripod at all times.

For the final train video of this day, I went to a reverse camera angle. With the sun in the west, I went to the northside of the tracks and caught CPKC Train #113 pulling past the still-stopped grain empty. CP8846 is leading KCS4027 up front, with CP9837 running in mid-train. The action is caught at the Malakwa Suspension Bridge Road grade Crossing, Mile 32.2 of CPKC's Shuswap Subdivision in Malakwa, British Columbia, Canada

I moved back to my original location for the day in Malakwa at Mile 32. This time I caught eastbound Train #302-257 making a meet with CPKC Train #101. The crew of #101 took time to give me a wave (much appreciated) from the cab of lead locomotive CP8813. Following behind is CP9764 with Union Pacific UP3022 on the rear. Great video. That was one long ass WB train. Were the autoracks MT or full? It looks like the MT well cars were added as an after thought. Probably a hangover from Hunter Harrison's precision scheduled railroading. LOL! I wish CPKC would get with it and put the 7000 series power in the lead instead of skanky old GE toasters.

1 - Thanks for asking. 2- Yes you may and without restriction. 3 - This was Trans Canada Highway 1 in British Columbia, Canada. If you copy the co-ordinates from the "Description" and paste into Google Maps it will show exactly where. (about a couple of miles east of Sicamous B.C.)

U should forward the video to the Salmon Arm or Kamloops highway patrol. Did the two pickups have a front plate? If not, that tells the truth.
The white was BC - PR8155, the blue was another province, but not Alberta, possibly Arizona(?) and despite being UHD, you can't read both the plates. Just a cautionary tale to watch out for Summer Idiots.
